I love this app so much. Not only is it super effective conceptually I find compared to other language apps that have free and paid versions drops isn’t as pushy about making people pay and treats it’s free users fairly which really just makes me want to pay once I’m able to.Hcgjnv

I have been using Drops for months now to learn Russian and I love how this app became a part of my routine effortlessly. I was critical of the previous update because I thought it sped things up too quickly, which I wrote about. However, with this new update, they resolved the issue I had. This shows that they really pay attention to their consumers which is very admirable. I truly thank them for paying attention!
My only suggestion that I have left is a more efficient way to select the words I want to study in the Touch Word Dojo. That being said, I am truly appreciative of this app and the efforts the developers make to this product as great as it can be. I am excited to see what they will come with next.Show lesspmb0527

The App makes learning into a game. Lessons are short, engaging and fun. I like racing the timer and seeing how far I can get on the progress bar for each lesson. Started with the free app and quickly purchased the full app. At the end of each session it shows you your accuracy rate and words you just reviewed. You can even see how many words you’ve learned vs how many are available. I love it!Show lessmoose bear
Choice of vocab bizarre
Is no one going to mention the weird choice of vocab? Learning ‘i slip’ and ‘i fart’ before things like ‘i can’ or ‘i want’ is baffling- same with nouns like ‘traffic sign’ and ‘outhouse’ before useful words like menu, supermarket, atm, hotel...!
I’ve tried changing the learner type to figure out where the really useful words are but really- every visitor to another country regardless of type needs things like hotel, pharmacy, toilet waaay before they need plunger!!
I kind of like the off the wall choice of words and it does make me laugh, it just goes a bit far and is frustrating because it is a great little app and works much better than memrise imo- it’s just memrise went for a sane list of words. You need to add more genuine essentials upfront.Show lessBrit in SG

I think drops is a great learning tool and I would recommend it anyone who is trying to learn a new language but could do with some sort of placement test for intermediates because I sometimes find myself learning things I have already covered but overall greatly appreciate how hard the developers have worked on this for us allShow lessLord_grant123

For quite some time, I was using the free version. Only being able to do a five minute increments, I thought I was and his advantage. However over a short period time, I was learning so much I wanted to do more than just one five minute increment every 10 hours. So I bit the bullet and purchased the app. I am so happy I did. I have been trying to learn Russian and this has been one app that I truly use every single day on this journey. I’m 40 years old and I’m happy to say that I am learning a second language thanks to this app.Show lesslgfri77
Very Helpful
Dear Readers,
Unlike Memrise, Drops is very helpful learning words. Memrise helps you memrise letters of the alphabet ( If you pay a terribly big fee you can learn some words ) which would be handy if you were to live in Russia and needed to know all of the alphabet. But as I am only going to Russia for a holiday, Drops is much better at teaching me some words that are important to understand. I personally recommend this to anyone trying to learn Russian as it has surely helped me.Show less:)Ru:)

Wish sessions were longer
I've always sucked at languages so trying to learn a hard language right off the bat was a scary thought, but this app has made learning Russian as a (hard) second language so much fun. Despite only being a beginner and only having the app for a short amount of time, i find the app both fun and beautifully presented. However i just wish that the "curious" upgrade wasn't limited to just 15 minutes a day and was unlimited like the more expensive options.Show lesshhghiokmmmmm

Amazingly intriguing with all the topics and when you learn a new word it comes out of a drop and you can decide if you want to remember or learn it and there’s a lot of different activities with the word!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 easilyfin dat savage
