Any non native language can be challenging to learn. It takes dedication and hard work. I like the fact that Innovative Language Learning emphasizes repetition, one of the important methods for retention. The conversations reflect instances in daily life. This company gives so much free information! And the deals they offer are worth it if you want to really increase your fluency. I purchased 3 languages for two years each. They are worth every cent I spent.

The app does come with a dark mode feature. To enable it, go to Menu, then Settings, and find Dark Mode in the General section. Tap it to choose to match your device’s setting, keep dark mode on all the time, or turn it off.
VERY Comprehensive Learning System
This is the only system I was able to use to learn Japanese effectively. Japanese was the first language that was delivered through this system. The app now supports many languages. I have only used the app to learn Japanese. The app implements a very comprehensive learning system with hundreds if not thousands of lessons in audio and video formats. Lessons are carefully designed and organized in courses which are further grouped into learning paths. The lessons have the right combination of carefully chosen vocabulary words with necessary grammatically and cultural detail. This depth was essential for learning Japanese. Being able to listen to lessons is very practical and useful. Each lesson has a review and vocabulary section. The system includes quizzes to test your knowledge and each section has comprehensive quizzes as well. Each lesson is accompanied by written PDF lessons which provide more detail and can also be viewed in the app. The vocabulary feature allows you to review vocabulary words and add them to a word bank where you can also categorize words into groups that make sense to you. Additional worksheets are available for download in the associated <Language>Pod101.com websites. The user interface could be more polished with larger fonts that would be more accessible and colours to make it more engaging. I’m also looking forward to be able to use flashcards directly in the app; currently they are only available on the website. The learning content is the gold here and the app is effective in delivering the content.
