Review Map - great app to have 🙏

Must have app. its life saver and so each to use.

Doesn’t have good maps coverage.

Comparing to navionics - it doesn’t have good mapping. Some lakes are not existing on the app and some are showing partial coverage for example - Georgian Bay. Very dissatisfied, wish I opted to stay with Navionics.

Good untill it wasn’t

I like the app but every so often you need to get a new pin to put in to refresh maps. That’s fine until recently when the pins they send me are no good. And no one from customer service has emails me back about a new one. I have Emailed two time now with no response.

Lost Info

I had the old version for years and it was great. The new, updated version (green badging & label) does not have as much info on it as the old one! Specifically, depth topo maps for certain lakes are gone. For instance, Lake Murray in San Diego California no longer has a bathymetry map. Just disappeared. Gone, no reason.

Great data

I was fishing a new area and after a day or too of nothing I downloaded this app and was able to pinpoint where a shelf and shelter rocks were and I limited out after a few hours, great app and easy to use and very simple which is perfect!

Great app but needs more lakes

Was wondering if you were able to add minnow lake Sudbury Ontario.. would be a big help

Response from developer

Edit: Minnow Lake, Sudbury is now available. https://fishing-app.gpsnauticalcharts.com/i-boating-fishing-web-app/fishing-marine-charts-navigation.html?name=Minnow_Lake&id=CA_ON_minnow_lake_on#14.8/46.4966/-80.9535 Hello, is this the lake you are referring to? We should be able to add it in the next update (including bathymetry, points etc). You can also reach us at support@gpsnauticalcharts.com. https://www.google.com/maps/@46.4924586,-80.9565756,16.36z Meanwhile, you can also change the background map to satellite imagery, street maps etc under Settings.

I’ve had to pay for this app 3 times without changing phones.

Not sure why but I’ve had to repurchase this app 3 times. Really there are better versions of this with less hassle. Don’t waste your time.

Ok but not great

The maps look good but the scale can be misleading. The area of deep water is larger than it’s picture suggests. All in all it works for having an idea of where the drop offs are.

Response from developer

Hello, You can also reach us at support@gpsnauticalcharts.com. Is it Scotts Run lake, PA? Its contour map is based on a sonar survey of the lake. Its max depth is 19ft deep close to the dam. If you move a little away from the dam, the max depth is close to 12ft as you have indicated. This is the lake I am referring to. https://fishing-app.gpsnauticalcharts.com/i-boating-fishing-web-app/fishing-marine-charts-navigation.html?title=Scotts+Run+Lake+boating+app&bmi=1#17.3/40.21007/-75.79862

Ok but not great

The maps look good but some of the information is off. There are several lakes I fish on this app, some show proper depth and contour markings and some don’t. Scotts run lake in french creek state park PA is 22 feet deep at its max not 11.
