This app is missing a thorough tutorial and basic functionality like deleting or re recording cues already recorded. Also missing a clearly labeled pdf button to return the the script. App is also not optimized for the latest iPhone screen sizes.

Hello, Can you send an email to michael@actors.life I would like to help with issues and fix anything you are having trouble with. It would be useful to get screen shots of how you are seeing the app on the different screen sizes. This does not work the way it is explained. Do not purchase! You can’t upload PDFs or scenes through email. You can’t do anything without it glitching. This is terrible and a rip off!

Really an awesome app in both its detail and in its extremely user friendly approach. I’ve been a working professional for over 50 years and this is the most supportive and comprehensive app I’ve come across... and I say that in being pretty set in my ways after so many years in learning and being cued on lines. I was very impressed with its comprehensive design and the very specific aspects of learning one’s lines.

Recently, with juggling multiple projects, I can’t seem to get my lines to stick in my brain.
I’m so happy to have this app, as it’s done the trick. It took me a few times to get the knack of it, even with the training, which is very good.
Now I’m off the page and can spend the time needed to bring each character to life.
I had to reach out for technical support and the response was quick, warm and helpful.
I highly recommend this app for anyone who has to memorize something and I can’t wait for their “accent” app to come out!

I’ve been basically doing what this app does through complicated recordings on my own. This app is everything the constantly auditioning/work actor could want from an app. Holds my scripts, gives me the option to speed up/slow down and to use only the other persons lines so I can basically play around with my lines and verbal actions and rehearse/memorize.
There is one thing I wish we could do- I wish I could label the names of scenes and even lines. If I were able to, I’d be able to label each line with my action or intention and have a more fully integrated application. Right now, I’m still needing my notebook for part of this work and it’s such an easy fix in the app.
If you’re an actor, get this app. I just crushed a callback and felt so cold on my lines the entire time- thanks to this app.

Thanks so much and glad you are loving the Actor's Lines! Re scene/line naming, you can (I might need to make this stand out more). You go to your Record screen and click to Re-order Lines. From there, you click on the pencil icon to rename the scene and on each line you want to rename. Great idea regarding intention - I am going to use that in my next audition, too.I just wanted to say that your response to the second reviewer was really kind and sincere, and I plan to try your app because of it.

Sometimes it can take a bit of time to get used too but it is a great ideas and concept. I is definitely better that using the memo app and I can’t wait to see this app get even better in the future.
