  • Great app; a couple of tweaks needed

This app has made being an Award Leader so much easier! Takes seconds to approve and authorise sections, and to check a participant’s progress. The biggest tweak needed is the ability to filter, starting with choosing to only see participants assigned to me and by Award level.
  • Mostly good

I just wish the app didn’t show all the inactive participants, its a little frustrating to not be able to filter them all.
  • Used to be better

This app has limited functionality. You need to log into go to the full computer version to fix errors.
As well, no matter what I do, this app has stopped giving notifications (though they are turned on) and it can be days or weeks before a student finally reaches out and says “can you check please”. It is super inconvenient that they have removed this feature.

Hello, the push notifications are back with the latest update - that was an error. The app has limited functionality to web as it should not serve as a complete replacement of the web app. Thanks, Jan
  • Useful but limited

    Useful for checking on participants.
However would be more helpful if user could filter results and put settings for notifications.
Not detailed information as the web ORB.

Please update with more functionality, user settings and filters.

Hi, thanks - the filter is one of the issues with highest priority, I cannot promise any delivery date though. The app will never contain that much information as you have on the web, but there is surely space for improvements. cheers, Jan
  • Limited In Scope

This app is very limited in functionality, at least for an Award Leader. I’ve heard some Participants can actually enter effort using the “ORB Participant” app, so that’s good.
One of a long list of simple things: You can’t look up a Participant by last name. Frustrating when you have a long list of Participants. (We have about 70.)
Some screens don’t make any sense...
“Adventurous Journey Events” for example. Not tied to any one or any Award Level.
    etc.
    etc.
Stick to the ORB to do real work.

Hi yes, you are right the app has a limited scope - the web has vast amount of features that are seldom used - it would be hard to maintain this also in the mobile app which has quite small audience.
  • welcome change but needs fixing

    1. cannot approve participants - the parental consent option can not be changed to “paper” within the app. can be changed on website.
    2. needs to be cleaner and quicker - on both site and app too much clicking into new windows. should just show participant and tick boxes. takes too much time atm.

    Developer Response

Hello, 1. you can change the consent type from the app - I have just checked it - click edit on registration approval 2. the agenda is quite vast - if the participant has what he needs for registration than it is just two clicks - if not - of course it takes time to change that.
  • No option for uk

    Can’t use ...

    Developer Response

The UK is using their own eDofe system which is not part of the ORB
