Perfect for my needs
My "retired" iPad 2 and iPad 3 are running 24/7 slideshows from shared albums.
I tried Apple Photos built-in slideshow feature, but it would not run continuously. I was restarting each iPad's slideshow daily, sometime twice a day. That was irritating enough to find another solution.
This app runs on old iPads and does the job well. I can quickly select a shared album and start the slideshow. The app has many options. I like the flip transition. I set 10 seconds for each picture. I especially like the option to NOT play videos.
I prevented my picture-frame iPads going dark by searching for "auto-lock" in the Settings app--change it to "Never".
This app has a subscription payment model. I am still in the one week free trial period. It is working just the way I want. For me, it is worth $10 per year.
Update, several months later, the subscription has gained value. Two iPods Touch and an iPhone 6 are running slideshows 24/7. The app’s Ken Burns transition helps on those tiny screens. And today I added an old-ish, cracked-screen iPad to the digital picture frame lineup. Six devices. This is a great way to get end-of-life value from old, but still working screens.

Digital Photo Frame Slideshow
I am very happy with this product which gives me the ability to view my entire iPad photo collection which consists of more than 200,000 images quickly and randomly with many or all transition effects to choose from. I am also very happy that this product will also play live photos with motion and video clips. Lastly... as a fun aspect... I can look up images on Flickr and play slideshows with images on any subject using the app. It is well worth the modest price.

Great App - would love to see auto-update!
Like many of the other reviewers, I’ve tried other photo frame slideshow apps and this is the best one bu far!
My only suggestion would be to add auto-updating so I can add new images to my album and automatically have them displayed rather than having to manually quit the app and start it over.

Fantastic for even older iPads!
I have an older iPad Mini that I wanted to show photos & live weather info by my front door. So I searched and searched and tried lots of apps, but couldn’t find anything that wasn’t scammy junk or would work on my older iPad. Even some apps I thought might work would crash after a day or two.
Not this app! I’ve been running it non-stop 24/7 on my iPad Mini and it’s fantastic. It has excellent options and works perfect.
The one feature request I’d like is if newly added photos to an album would automatically show up in the rotation. I believe I currently have to exit the slideshow and start it again, at least that’s what I’ve observed. My use case is that I show my Favorites from iCloud and would like them to show up after I hit favorite on any other iCloud device.
Kudos to helping an older iPad have a new, useful life!

Amazing!!!
I had been searching around forever for an app to display my photos from a shared album since the apple version doesn’t work well and this is it! Plays videos, live photos, and normal photos seamlessly. Lots of options within the app to customize how you want them played too. And IF you run into any problem (unlikely) you can contact the developer (Manuel) and he is super nice, very responsive, and willing to work with you to resolve it and even push out an update if needed. I am super happy with this app and totally recommend it!!!

iCloud Photo Library Support makes this One Of a Kind!
Hi Manuel, I want it to display 12 hour time, but it’s stuck on 24 hour, even after force quitting and restarting the app. Would be cool if the text background could be a little more opaque, or maybe an opacity adjustment in settings? Otherwise it’s excellent, and filling a niche that I haven’t seen any other app fill...ESPECIALLY because it supports iCloud Photo Library! Excellent work. I subscribed for a year. I repurposed an old iPad to replace the Google Nest Hub to show photos in the kitchen, because I decided to switch the family to Apple and away from Google.

Given my old iPad a new life
Great photo frame which is easy to use and has lots of options. I would give it 5 stars except that the timer option doesn’t work and the largest font size for the clock is too small to see from only a short distance away.
