Impossible customer service
I’ve been trying to reset my password after five years of using the app, and it’s been nearly impossible to reach any form of customer support. It feels like they expect users to repurchase the app instead of providing lasting assistance. So no — this is not a lifetime service. Be cautious: you’re essentially paying for a few years of use, after which support vanishes entirely

Love this
I’ve been vegan for a while, but I really love this app. You get a meal plan that includes all three meals so I never have to decide what to eat. Depending on the program, there may be daily exercise, meditations, and short learning modules too. What has really said this app apart for me is the meal prep. I’m really learning how to create healthy, tasty dishes that I can pull together myself without too much effort. I’m not changing my eating habits for a short term goal. I’m changing my habits, including eating, for the long-term.

Highly recommend!!
The recipes are delicious, easy to make and packed with nutrition. The creators, Mikael and Sorina, are also very kind and helpful. They know how to foster a sense of community. I’ve faced several health challenges over the last few years. And this program has truly been a light for me. This program has been invaluable for my health and wellbeing. 🌟💫✨

A journey worth experiencing and feeling the benefits from
I have been with 121 for a few years now and have learned so much about myself and how to fuel myself to feel my best. This is definitely a must for everyone wanting to feel their best and eat in a delicious and easy way. The support and connect is amazing as well. Thank you Sorina and Mikael for you passion and vision

No Longer Works
The app no longer works. It’s stuck on the “choose one of our experts” page and no matter who you click on, it just refreshes the same page. Can’t get into app and access recipes I’ve marked as favorite. Hopefully there is a fix for this.
Delicious & lost weight-word about errors
First regarding errors. English is not her first language and the oversights are minimal. I feel like those who complain are being a little over the top. Now.. the app is amazing! The no waste tips are great. Recipes are delicious. It’s very hard to find a vegan program that doesn’t go crazy with odd ingredients. This app includes delicious recipes and I lost weight without feeling full. I did this with an optional program that was economical and so amazing with virtual live components. Love love love! (The app is free & my daughter got me hooked)

Valuable information
I have learned something valuable in every 121tribe camp. The meals are tasty, satisfying and delicious. I enjoy being around other like minded individuals in the community of plant based eating.
You have to try it
My body feels better than it has in a very long time. I have more energy and my mind actually feels clearer. Don’t be afraid of the stereotype of healthy meaning it tastes bad because it is very very wrong in this case
Great
Love this app and this program! So easy to use.
Its a new day to start the rest of my life
Amazing program and I keep coming back for more. While the recipes are the highlight for me, I also enjoyed the education, mindfulness exercises and yoga! Well done 121 Tribe: Sorina & Mikael!
Love the app but…
I absolutely love the program. The only issue I have is the ingredient listing and the recipe instructions. It needs a bit of refining. Not many people I know shop in ounces at the grocery store. Also, combining each ingredient from each recipe into one consolidated line item on the grocery list would be beneficial. For example, they could reference the recipe underneath the combined itemized food listing so the user can know what recipes they are buying in bulk for. Also, for the the cleansing program, I noticed there was a Session 2 and Session 3 meal prep. Where is the 1st one? I like the meal prep ideas as I don’t have time to cook and make each meal every day. I had to figure out the meal prep the soup for the first 3 days. Which is fine but I don’t want to make soup and lack the intended vitamins I am
supposed to receive for optimal health. Also, it would be nice on the original program to expand on the meals so that after the 21 days there are other meals and ideas to make for some variety to the diet. I really do love this information and love all the work that was put into this app. I will still use to use it and work around the issues. Its worth it! Thanks guys so much for putting this together. I am glad I found it!

Feeling so grounded and energized!
I am feeling so grounded and refreshed after the RESET program with Sorina! The meals were amazing and so delicious. The breath work and yoga really centered and grounded me, it was a great reset mentally :) I would not recommend training super hard outside of the program during this reset because your body is adjusting and refreshing!

10/10 would recommend
I’ve really enjoyed the recipes/tips!! Darin is awesome :)
Great program
I am on day 6 and I wanted to send you this email to let you know how incredible this program is. The recipes and the food is seriously delicious!!
I live in Colorado where we are in the middle of a cold and snowy part of winter and instead of guzzling coffee and pastries for breakfast I have just worked out and then had the incredible citrus themed smoothie.
Thanks for creating this program. I am feeling healthier already!!

Soooo many issues
Forwarning - this program is not for the faint hearted! In the beginning, I chose to shop for 4 days worth of meals. I spent THREE hours and $170 (for two people) at Whole Foods trying find and measure (everything is given to you in ounces) everything. And that was only four days of food. Plan on spending 3 or more hours per day making these meals. I was vegetarian for 7 years and I know my way around a kitchen. Even with my boyfriend helping me, it takes hours per day of work to prep this food.
Let’s start with the positives:
The meals are fantastic especially for being vegan. They are tasty and filling.
I love that you get meal plans, work outs, education articles, and water tracking. That’s a lot for the low price tag!
Content-wise, it’s awesome.
Now for the significant flaws:
There is a grocery list creation functionality. Firstly, you cannot specify which days you’d like to shop for. For instance, if you’ve “started the program” you have to literally start that day. You can’t make grocery lists for past days or days in the future. So god forbid you skip days and want to go backwards or forwards. And the only option at that point is to start over completely. Stupid.
The grocery lists are in f*cking ounces!!! So instead of saying “3 bananas” it says 0.3 oz banana. So you will have to weigh EVERYTHING out which is insane considering the massive grocery list you will have. For four days worth of meals I think I had about 40 items to buy.
They tell you which days and what food you should meal prep for, for the days coming up. Sounds great, right? Nope. They don’t tell you: the measurements for ingredients of said meal prepping, which meals you are even meal prepping for so you can go find the measurements, and the meal prep instructions don’t match the individual recipes on each day. And the videos will have extra stuff or leave out stuff that the recipe has. Extremely confusing. Essentially, nothing lines up. You end trying to bounce back and forth between days trying to figure out measurements so you can meal prep which is incredibly annoying in app format (it’s not like flipping pages in a book) and then you don’t even know which meals you should be looking at or how much you should be making. Is this for one meal? 3 meals? Which meals? How much for each meal? Who knows! Incredibly annoying.
And let’s say you and your partner want to cook or meal prep together. Let’s say your making dinner and your partner is going to meal prep for breakfast. You can’t do both because you have to constantly bounce back and forth between the two meals which are in two not-easily-found locations.
So, I thought, if these recipes were printed out in front of me I could make my own grocery list (not in ounces!) and figure out meal prepping on my own. So I contacted them to ask for PDFs. They won’t give them to you.
The meal prep times are wayyyyyy off. They say 5 min to make a smoothie. Does it take 5 minutes to wash, peel, de-seed, grate, make your own milk, etc all 10-15 ingredients. No, no it does not. More like 30-45 minutes. It would be 5 minutes if all the ingredients were already prepped and measured. But that’s not real life.
Great program. Too complex for an app. Recipes are complicated, expensive, time consuming, but tasty and nutritious. Only use this app if you have lots of time (3-5 hours per day) and money ($200 per week per person).
I expected better, Darin! Get better app developers and let people have PDF versions of your recipes! Trying to do this on a phone is insane!

Excellent program but needs app fixes and a community aspect
I’m loving that I’m getting guidance on clean, plant-based living, plus relaxation and exercise. It doesn’t feel like a diet.
A few things: though there was a sale going on for the full program to be $39.99, I ended up paying $49.99 — I may have needed to complete the free three days in order to get the sale price? That’s shady. UPDATE—Instagram says sale ended 2/7, but website said sale was still on as of 2/14....soooo, what’s the deal?
Others have mentioned typos (“reverse table TOOP” instead of “top” in upper body exercises) and issues with portions (easier to know what “1/4 of a medium avocado” is more than “avocado - 1/4 piece”).
When I substitute meals (ie, lunch), I’d like to have the choice of other meals within the whole 21 days, and not just other lunch meals. Better yet, I’d love to “build” my own lunch.
There is A LOT of food made here. My husband and I are doing it together so that helps—but a “leftover day” would be helpful, or option for leftovers. I know it’s all portioned correctly, but we need to have the option to listen to our own bodies to know when to stop.
I also really miss a community aspect, including the ability to submit questions to a representative of the program. After 3 days, I notice some unpleasant body symptoms and day 4, I couldn’t eat dinner because of the major discomfort. Not having access to a nutritionist, it’s a responsibility of the program staff to be available to discuss. Plus, it would be so nice to talk about this program with others who have done it.
We did the yoga class together and I take issue with it. I’ve done yoga for 20 yrs and though I’m not a teacher, I’ve had ample time and experience with multiple teachers to know how to approach yoga from an inclusive perspective. My husband was struggling to keep up with Serina — and she was teaching as if the viewer had been doing yoga for 20 yrs. Please re-record with all levels in mind and attention to positioning in the body so that people don’t hurt themselves. This is critical.

Still a fair amount of recipe errors
Ordered Darin’s book and loved it so wanted to follow up with this app. The 10 day reset daily recipes do not coincide with the prep ahead section, some recipes are using cups/tablespoons etc, while the same recipes elsewhere on the app reference ‘pieces’ of ingredients. Which is correct? A 1/2 piece of an orange or a tablespoon of orange juice? The shopping list in all in ounces....difficult to purchase celery or other bulk ingredients that way. Spelling errors and just not as ‘user friendly’ as would be convenient. I have enjoyed the food but had to do quite a bit of my own organizing and list making to shop. I see other reviews stating the same issues, from months ago, so would be great if they could promptly address.

How can I change my shopping days to 3 it stays on 1 and won’t let me change it
Disappointed
I love Darin’s tips and regularly listen to his podcast. I purchased the full version of this app to get the full 21 days. It’s disappointing. Some of the recipes are on repeat and there isn’t a workout for everyday. The first 3 days have the most info, and those are free. Hopefully an update will provide a more robust app.

Maybe the best health app
Amazing app, interactive and user friendly. Very modern, cool look, engaging, keeps you going back for more and the content is really valuable. You can see that a lot of time and thought (and passion) was put into this.
