And you notice things like the first words are rhyming group. Two, AND, AND, AND, To. May explain why I always flip lines 2 and 3.
A writing mode might help. The act of physically writing the blank word helps muscle memory. Or blank out phrases. Split sentence up by commas. Full stops

Beautiful app for a wonderful past time
Memorising poetry is a great way to spend spare moments. Firstly, at the end of the time you have something to show for it - some poetry that will be available to you whenever you like.
This app makes it so much easier and more fun to learn. You can just read aloud (or in your head) while the app gradually covers words and by the end (and I find, after a night's sleep) it's pretty firmly there.

Like the Redesign
Have been using for awhile and the redesign looks smart and fresh. While there are still some features i’d like to see going forward, I feel good about the future of this app and am confident the developer will continue to iterate

It is super easy to use and it even has a practice text that is the instructions. It clearly states what you do and how to do it. Even if you delete that text, you can get it back in case you forgot or are showing someone a practice text. I love this app and it helps me learn all of my lines really quick. Awesome idea, great developer.

This Is Too Easy
I just copied a column from a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet to the clipboard, then pasted the contents into a new document in Memy. Memy quickly accepted the text contents of more than a thousand cells, treating each cell’s contents as a paragraph. The controls are easy to understand, and the app responds sharply even on

Really works!
This is a great app. It's helped me memorize lines, documents, scriptures, speeches, poems, you name it. It's super helpful, and if there are ever any issues, the app developer is happy to take care of the problem ASAP to improve your experience. 10/10 would recommend. Great job!
More limited than I expected
I was satisfied with the basic functionality—until I realized that the one text I’d put in was the only one I was going to be allowed on the free version. Are you kidding me? Now when I try to add, I only get the prompt for the pricey premium version. I even deleted the tutorial, assuming that without it, I could at least have two texts to work with (besides preloaded poem.) Nope. I tried deleting and replacing my one text. That worked but still leaves me disappointed. By the way, I think a limit of, say, five texts is fair for a free version.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to write review, and sorry about the frustration. It’s hard to find the right balance: give enough to users to use the app for free forever, but also give them a reason to upgrade and support the development. However, I think you are right and I am gonna reconsider the number of free texts, especially now that I am slowly adding more features that create more reasons to upgrade. Thought it wasn’t possible...
...that I could memorize prayers that I struggled to find the time to focus on them. This app made it possible. One of my daughters would write prayers on a white board and then gradually erase the words, but this app is greater because you can have the words come back.
An easy way to memorise any text.
Excellent first effort. Makes memorising any text easy. While it lacks the functionality of opening text/pdf files, this is a simple way to get started building down memory lane.
