Amazing and interesting

Itโ€™s very interesting and gives much to consider with its moral and favour features

Top notch

Just finished 1st chapter and canโ€™t wait for more

Interesting and refreshing

This is an excellent way to engage readers and keep the story fresh at the same time. It brings back the nostalgic feeling of choose-your-adventure books and flipping ahead to my chosen path.

Also very well written, solid characters and setting. Well done!

If youโ€™re on the fence, at least do chapter one.

This app is FANTASTIC, I was hooked on the first page, but when I saw my score at the end of the chapter I knew I had to do the next chapter and the next just to see what I could score. Really a wonderful app and Iโ€™m so appreciative of the developers and writers.

One of a kind

An engaging story, interesting plot, and entertaining dialogue.

I found it SOOOO fun and wanted to keep doing chapter after chapter until I finished. ๐Ÿ˜Š 5/5 stars ALL the way.
Comparing to a Choose Your Own Adventure: 1)this has scores at the end of each chapter, and a ranking of how well you played the character. This makes it more fun every step of the way, and lets you go back and do better.
2) achievements that give rewards. Very fun!
3) on the other hand, the story doesn't really change based on choice as you go along, because the text is from an actual book. If you die, you have to go back and try again until you don't die. So there's not a bunch of endings or anything...but I'm not really complaining, just informing.

Brilliant

Very enjoyable. The story is well thought through and exciting you like the characters and care about what happens. Just wish it was longer hahah

A great read

This was genuinely a good read and very well written.

I look forward to reading book 2

Solid entry

I personally found the concept and premise quite engaging; I loved how this approach to story telling encourages and even utilizes immersive readers to really put themselves in the story. The choices are all fairly reasonable, never did I find them overtly one sided or obvious. I did, however find the combat choices moderately unpredictable which at times snapped me out of the narrative and instead of keeping me in. I would select an option thinking one thing only to read that the character didn't do anything close to what I expected, making me think "I'll have to go back and fix that after" which is more akin to a game mechanic than an immersive story. It would be nice to have a little more description of the characters intentions for some actions. Some of the choices were also too similar, like, it was anyone's guess which one would be more beneficial. It would be awesome to have more choices that related to the general strategy of a given encounter. Those choices were certainly present, but more would have been better. Playing as Jacob (I think) was awesome. Choosing to run, use the wheel barrow, or climb a tree, were distinct and believable choices the character would consider. It made me feel involved with the characters survival, like I truly controlled his fate, that was an excellent encounter.
However I liked how most choices included the characters inner rationale for said choice, most of the time making every choice feel well thought out. The story was compelling and interesting and I look forward to more. I can't wait to see how this method of story telling evolves over time, I encourage anyone to give this a try. It would be really interesting to see the books develops bigger "meta choices" that can actually dictate how the book turns out. I realize how much more work that can be, but it would be really interesting to explore a book that you can read multiple times and have different outcomes each time.I love this catalyst for novels and I encourage people to give it a chance. It might not be for everyone, but it certainly works for me.

I will actually pay for this

This is better than some of the fantasy medieval novels out there by far, whilst some of the choices are not progress relevant it really gets you thinking with logic and situational common sense. A good journey so far!

Takes me back to the old school

The stories are well written and remind me of reading the old Dungeons and Dragons โ€œpick-a-pathโ€ books. Very nice use of an app on the App Store and good use of the internet.
