Starling Integration needs help

The concept is a nice idea but had this promoted to me in the Starling app despite me living in Newcastle and all transactions in Newcastle. 10 minutes signing up only to find out nothing within 100 miles is pretty poor UX. Would be an easy fix with some foresight. Additional, if you are finding many bad reviews In your App Store info, surely the clue is there that It is not clear enough that most of the UK is excluded.

Hi Chris, thanks for the feedback. We are in the process of expanding across the entirety of the UK but we have to take it city by city. It takes massive time and resources to expand as I'm sure you can understand. We do state the cities that we cover in the app description. Newcastle is coming soon.

A no brainier

It’s integration with starling bank works perfectly. The support experience has been excellent. I don’t usually write reviews but credit where it’s due. Well done to the Tail team !!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APPThe app is pretty pointless

I downloaded the app hoping to see a lot of well known brands in London. Most of them are not close to work/home (Liverpool Street) and very few good places. The Idea is great, if more local offers with well known brands are on the list (Bird is not well know unless you live in Inslington). The company also has the audacity to tell me how many stars I should give them. If the app is worth 3** I would have given it three stars. I am not that in competent.

Please send us an email to contact@tail.at and we'll be happy to address your concerns and answer any questions you might have. We have over 70 locations in London for brands such as Bird, Mother Clucker & Notes. We are growing all the time but we can't be everywhere at once, more locations are coming but they will take time. Ultimately, we are a free app that is just trying to provide cashback and a one-star review really hurts.

This is the kind of app I want to see; I paired with my Monzo account and now I get offers in bars and restaurants. I get cash into my account when I spend- so simple to use. There’s only about 80 different places in London but I think they’re adding more 🤷‍♀️

Tail works

From a functional perspective, it does exactly what it says it should do and I have experienced no functional issues since being a user.
The volume and variety of establishments could do with increasing, but I’m sure that will come in time.

Can’t beat free money!

How could I ever complain about an app that gives me free money seamlessly?Loving the design changes too! it’s early days for you guys and I know you’ve got so much more you can do - can’t wait to see it all come to life! Will definitely be telling all my friends that use Monzo and Starling to get on it. Keep up the good work

Awesome app and great idea!

Giving me cash back for buying food...Yes please! I’ve used cashback apps and websites before, but they always take ages to get your money. I love how fast this is! As soon as I buy I get the confirmation, and money is deposited every week. Effortless.

It’s Great!

I was a little bit confused by having to download Starling as well... but once I set up my account it was so simple. Saves me about a tenner a week on lunch alone. Very happy pleaseandthankyou x

Very handy!

Love how easy it is to use the app once it is running. Couldn’t believe at first that there is no catch. Works - saves money - Love it. Would recommend!

Does work with help

Unfortunately this app did not work at first but with help from tech support it worked after deleting the app then doing a hard reset of my iphone then adding the app again it now works .. shows what good tech support does.. thanks guys👍
