  • $90 for a TV guide...wow!

I accept having ads for free version apps but to take up the whole screen and have to wait for the progress bar before being able to close (and most of the time it won't let you close the ad) the ad..disgusting. It's a TV guide!!, absolutely no need for these obtrusive ads. I refuse to pay a subscription for a TV guide that I can access for free online. AND $90 to remove ads, no thanks. A free OBD2 app I use for my car is way more useful, has unobtrusive ads and is only $10 for the full version. Developer....you should learn a thing or two from this.

  • Too many ads you can’t get out of

I’ve used this app for years and have, until recently, found it to be great. However, recently every time an ad starts you have to watch the entire thing until you can stop it. Just now I could not close the ad, even when it had finished, and had to uninstall the app and then install again. It was almost as though my screen froze. If this continues I’ll be getting out of the app permanently. I expect ads but not like what this has become. Really disappointed.

  • Absolutely annoying ads that won’t go away

This app was great and is great if only OFF THE AD THAT OPENS. But NOPE or won’t close and you literally continuously press the X to fail over and over unless you press to update and pay to update to pro version which is disgusting as it’s an option and SHOULD NOT BE FORCED. Thankfully there is other options AD FREE with NO ADS and THEY’RE NOT FORCING YOU TO UPGRADE through their cheeky means. I’m not deleting purely to continue to upgrade my review.

  • Ads in other languages

When you open the app a full screen ad appears, which I have no objection to as such. However some of these ads are in languages other than English so I don’t know which button closes the ad and which button means I want to buy the product advertised. Is this a trick to get more users to click through on the ads? Seems like an unethical strategy to me. Surely the ads should match the language used in the app.
The other problem as others have mentioned is that sometimes the ads come on with unexpected loud sound, so I try to remember never to open the app when I’m in a public place to avoid embarrassment.
These two issues totally spoil the app which is otherwise quite good.

  • Decent basic TV guide - except for one thing

This is a basic TV guide listing, which comes in handy when I can’t read the EPG from where I’m sitting, or when I’m randomly wondering what’ll be on telly later that night… However, the transition from 11:59pm to 12:00am is kinda clunky. Or maybe even just non-existent. It would be great if you could consider putting something in the next update that lets you scroll across to midnight, and seamlessly continue scrolling into the next day with listings - just like when going from 11:59am to noon.

  • Australian TV

Excellent App. Keeping me up to date here in England.
When is C9 showing Doctor Doctor again please? We absolutely love it!
  • Ok app

The app is ok, though I don’t like how you can’t see what’s on the next day til well after midnight. The favourite reminders doesn’t work any more either, which makes me even less likely to purchase the paid version- if I could be sure they worked I might be tempted. Biggest gripe tho is the scammy ads they allow on the free version, including the bogan Clive Palmer- I understand you need ads to pay for the app, but at least make them work properly and not be scammy weight loss crap….also sometimes the ads don’t fully load and you can’t close them out without completely closing the app and risking the same ad when you reopen it

  • Best I can find

Still quite new to this app but it gives me the info I need - the app I had been using was shut down. I like the clean look of this one, and the one tap for more info on each program, which so far has been very accurate. I’d like to group my favourite channels together (haven’t looked yet to see if its possible!), a tad annoying having them in the order they are in now. Not overrun with ads either, much appreciated. Thanks.
Updated: still using this app, there is nothing better. Have since worked out how to rearrange the channels. Honestly this does everything, not even looked to see if there’s an alternative!

  • Excellent TV App

I have found this to be a reliable, informative and well laid out TV App. I'd be very disappointed if it were no longer available. I enjoy being able to gain information about the productions, the reviews, the summaries, the cast of movies and TV series. It is so useful to be able to get information on all channels for the next day. This is useful for those who watch in the early morning hours.

    Absolutely!

IF ONLY the user ( me) did not have to battle an insistent betting/gaming/poker machine advertisement to gain access to the "excellent" TV App. Just when you think you can keep the app on the screen, it disappears to show me yet another ad inviting me to buy something. Then the pokies ad comes back again. Eventually I win the battle and can avail myself of the excellent TV App.

Until the next time. Then the ads reappear and I take up the battle again.

    Please stop this recurring.

  • Obnoxious ads

I like the ap, but fo agree with other reviews about the late night being difficult to access. Why can’t you scroll past midnight and have the date reset to the next day?
Also the ads. They are long, but I could actually put up with that, it’s the fact that the cross to turn them off is so small and sometimes doesn’t work. Also they are very loud, and override music you may be listening to. You can have long frequent ads, but making them difficult to shut down and obnoxiously loud shows a disdain to your users.
