Good but...
Extremely unbalanced. When you realize that even if you spend real money on upgrades, the levels get so hard that you simply cannot make enough money from kills to be able to afford the bigger towers that you need to complete the hard levels. So the game kind of defeats itself with this impossible to ignore fact.
If you can't make enough money from kills to build the towers you need (even if you kill every monster) then this game is fundamentally flawed right out of the gate, and impossible to progress (even if you spend real money on upgrades.)
Sad because everything else about the game is great.Show lesscheekenstein

The pros are it's a fantastic TD game. One that should be in everyones collection.
The cons are the purchases needed once you've already paid for the game.
I get that programmers need to make a living. But games that are free have purchases in game. This game is a paid game with also these purchases required within.
I would have given 5 star if it was a one off payment.
I have purchased many games without there being more payments required. I just hope that these ingame incentive purchases are not essential. Time will tell.Show lessJohn Ward62

First, literally half the buttons say Coming Soon
Second, the "puzzle level" which is a straight rip off of Fieldrunners doesn't let you build towers while paused, so it's unbeatable
Third, there are currently only 10 levels
Fourth, it doesn't have any real charm,
Fifth, it costs real money to buy the freaking railgun
Sixth, make the game free then charge IAP for map packs. Charging $3 for this level of development just makes me mad.Show lesswolvrine32

Firstly, Encyclopedia, Quests, Achievements are sub-functions that we are completing in a hurry. In the next big update, there will be endless mode which allows players update towers with no level limit. Secondly, your opinion could be right. However, not only Fieldrunne or Tower Madness, we are also inpired by many other great classic Tower Defense, RTS games like: Starcraft, warcraft, DOTA, LOL; warcraft 3 TD custom maps. We want to bring the resurgence of classic TD game and continuosly learn from other great games. Thirdly, there are already 20 maps in this game, 10 maps on normal modes and 10 maps in hard modes. Besides, we are continuously updating new campaigns (each campaign includes 7 normal maps and 3 puzzle maps), new levels of difficulty (it could be harder than hard mode now, more interesting and balancing), new kind of enemies and towers. Fourthly, we are adjusting our monetise model, hope to satisfy you in our next update.Satisfying...
...a decent TD game which satisfy's my hunger for games of this genre. It feels kind of old school. It's not trying to be something it's not. It has good graphics, great gameplay. A nice addition to my TD collection. It's not cuddly and cute. It's old school.Frumpyflump
