## Internal Links You can now link to any heading within a sheet. - Same sheet, other sheets, doesn‘t matter. - Just start typing into the regular URL field, and auto-complete will list matching headings. - You can quickly jump to such links (on iPad, try CMD-click). - You can export those links (great for table of contents and personal knowledge bases). - We even import internal links from Markdown, DOCX and HTML files. ## History Navigation You can now jump back and forth between recently used sheets. - Navigate to the last edit. - Return to an internal link. - Go back to the previous sheet after using Quick Open. ## Bugfixes - Fixed restoring iCloud projects from backups (the iCloud backup wakeup). - Added Dark Mode to WordPress publishing preview (night owls rejoice; yayyyy…). - Fixed a crash when using {alignat} within an equation (aka “alignot”, haha). ### Widgets - Better late then never… - Open projects right from your home screen. - Create new sheets right from your home screen. - Both actions are also available for your lock screen. - There‘s even a dedicated Inbox widget, which works similar. ### Templates Group - Projects now have a Templates group in Extras. - If you drag a sheet to or from this group, it will always be copied. - It’s a start. ### Bug Fixes and Improvements - Updated WordPress preview theme to WordPress Twenty Twenty-Four (no more green, yay). - Student offer should be available again (was on semester leave or so). - Fixed cut-off "Help and Support" footer (details). - Improved performance when loading many projects. - Got rid of a couple of irrelevant error messages. - Fixed a crash when launching Ulysses. - Fixed a crash when switching between apps. ### Changes - Reworked the new keyboard bar: - Brought back the steppers (it was an experiment, it failed, science!). - Changed the button order to Block, Inline, Figure, More. - Re-added indent/outdent as well as “Clear Markup” actions. - Added “Find” to the More menu, so that it can be accessed while editing. - Changed how the “All”, “Last 7 Days” and “Favorites” filters work: - “All” now includes sheets from projects. - “Last 7 Days” now also includes sheets from projects. - “Favorites”, you guessed it, now ALSO includes Favorites from projects. - Reworked the visual appearance of the library on iPhone. ### Fixes - Fixed a bug when sharing an image or PDF to Ulysses. - Fixed a bug where three periods were not automatically substituted by an ellipsis. - Fixed a bug with opening projects via Quick Open on iPhone (it was neither quick, nor would they open). - Fixed a crash when selecting a certain type and amount of text at the end of a sheet (don’t ask). - Fixed a number of other crashes.
