  • Relearning Arabic

I took Arabic in college (7 years ago) and I’m surprised that I remembered this much but this app is making is easy to dust off some of the knowledge that is in there somewhere and bring it back out to the forefront.

I like the style of the app, it’s aesthetically pleasing as well as easy to use.

I rarely pay for apps but I am considering purchasing the full app since it’s been fantastic as a freebie.

  • This is a great app but I have a couple of requests

This is an awesome app to learn Arabic an other languages. I love using language apps that is game based and fun. I do have some feedback on how to make this app better.

    1. Be able to download the learning material for offline use. I travel a lot and there are many times where I get some offline time and have time to practice but the app wont work because I have no internet

    2. Make this app UI friendly for iPad. This would be awesome. I mostly use my iPad in landscape mode and the UI for this app only displays in portrait.

But overall, great app for learning languages!

  • Easy to learn!

The app is great and makes it easy to learn. I like how it is always pronouncing it for you, so that you can learn how to pronounce it correctly extremely fast. However I wish we had more time to learn and shorter ‘breaks’ in between lessons.
  • Great app

I’ve honestly learned quite a bit from this app. I’m currently a college student planning to take an Arabic course. This app helps me learn new words in way that I can remember them. For the most part, this app is great! This on issue, I would say, is the limited amount of time your given to learn these new words. However, if your willing to pay for the subscription then you shouldn’t that issue.

  • Interesting to learn basic communication words

Interesting way of learning the Arabic language by association. Words and images are always correlated and this helps different types of memories to approach the language in their own way.

I like the variety of exercises and the fact there is not a predicted sequence of those. This challenges my brain in a nicer way.

I find the app helpful not to learn the language properly, but to help me in a “primitive” communication with my paediatric patient: with children only basic words are needed to make sure the essential needs are supported.
At the moment I don’t have time to follow a full language course, therefore I thank this app to help me knowing the basic words to support me in my daily life in the intensive care. This enables me in providing my patients a basic feeling of being understood in their moment of being at the hospital and being vulnerable.

    Thanks!

  • Wish they had Advanced

Looking for an app that helps me practice and retain my Arabic language skills while I’m in the United States. I have had 8 years of Arabic training and feel as if I’m losing it the more that I don’t speak it. I try to read speak and watch videos as much as I can but still need practice. Wish there were more resources out there like this to help.

  • Pretty good for beginners

Well they prompted me to write a review after my first 5 min session and overall it was good but I think it may be a little too fast. I am not sure if they will keep throwing in the words in the next session that I barely learned but if they do that would be great. If they start me off with a whole new set of words and not refresh my memory with the first five minutes of words we will see what happens.

  • Great app! Just needs some info...

This app is very good! I’m learning much! I just wish that they will let you have settings so it teaches you a specific amount in order to help you learn to language at a speed of your decision. Otherwise, great app!
  • i really love it but there is one problem

    i don’t like the 5 min timer
i love the app to the point where i want to go non stop but i can’t due to the timer running out and i have to wait for it for so long and so therefore influence me to not be motivated to learn.

Inshallah u guest do something about this so that i could learn Arabic ASAP
thanks and have a nice day ;)

  • Awesome!

Drops is such a great app! The perfect amount of repetition to easily get what you are learning. The only thing for me is I’m trying to learn to read and write Arabic as well learning the language to understand and I think there should be less “English” alphabet and more Arabic letters. But otherwise I recommend Drops all the time to people who want a fun and productive way to learn a new language!
