  • Cool idea but it cheats

I like the option to take really long exposure shots and I love seeing the picture develop while taking the picture - that’s really nice.

However, it looks like the app adds fake stars to the picture. If you take a picture in a closed box you will see stars in there too... I would prefer the app to only show what is really there with no special effects.

Try to google about 'dark noise'
  • Good App Works Well

Downloaded and used for the first time for pictures of the Neowise comet last night. Got some nice shots. You must ensure phone is perfectly still when taking the picture, recommend a stand or leaning the phone on something solid (do not hold).
  • Do not even bother

    What a waste
  • Really good app

I started stargazing with it, thank you it’s amazing, simple and efficient!
  • Thought I could take a photo of the moon

    With this app

    Nope
There are no settings to change and no guide on how to use it
  • Fake Photos

Took a picture of the night sky, only to realize the app added some random stars in, by random there were about 7 extra stars, took a picture covering the camera and the stars appeared again; this app just creates random stars giving the effect of what would be created with a slow shutter speed, as for northern lights it adds in random streaks of light...

  • Great App!

I absolutely love this app! I like to take photos at night, indoor, since my son passed away... I have tried every app out there and this app is by far the best for low light. The photos I take are extremely crisp and clear. Thank you.
  • Sneaky

Works well enough, and would be great if the dev wasn’t a sneaky boi, and added an overlay of fake stars on pictures. You can test it yourself by taking a picture of a dark room.
  • Brilliant

I live in a very light polluted area and this app let me take BRILLIANT photos.
  • Better than anticipated.

I’m truly dumbfounded by the rating of this app! I’m using iPhone 7 Plus and I’m in an area with a ton of light pollution and I am astonished at what I’m able to capture.

Next week I am defiantly buying the paid version.

Just using this free version I was able to get a beautiful shot with minimal noise compared to other apps I’ve tried, despite the light pollution. And the noise was easily taken care of with minimal correction using Lightroom mobile.

Granted using an extremely expensive setup I’d get stellar shots (no pun intended) but I will say that I also have a $1500 camera and a $300 F1.8-50mm lens and in an area with total darkness I had to take 10 30sec exposures, load them to photoshop, align them and blend them to get a shot that was better, but not much better than what I’m pulling from this app.

Again u can’t wait to purchase the paid version next week and it’s definitely going on my iPhone 11 when I upgrade to it in another month.

Thank you for making this app great!
