  • Alright

The app interface is good enough. It doesn’t need anymore tweaks and is good enough being simple. This app is the only free app I’ve seen so far that has the ability to actually brighten photos and it does so pretty well.

However there are fake stars scattered around the image when it is completed. By taking a picture of my floor I’m pretty sure that it is impossible to show stars, yet it still does. It is not noise like the developer is saying but rather a transparent png overlayed over the final result.

  • Good app , tried it for the northern lights

Good app , tried it for the northern lights
  • AMAZING

    used it at sunrise🤘
  • Limitation is smart phone, not app

Smart phones are no good for photographing the night sky simply because the imaging chip is too small. Increasing exposure time only results in blooming or fat stars, while increasing ISO results in more noise (red and blue blotches). Better to use a DSLR type camera for night sky photos.
  • Not focusing after install on iph xr, worked fine on iph 8

I tried all focus -+ settings, it just doesnt focus

    Developer Response

This app doesn't have focus setting.
  • Adds fake stars to pictures

It does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I took a 30 second exposure of my bedroom ceiling in pitch black and the apps adds a bunch of fake stars to the photo.

    Developer Response

    It's not fake star. NOISE.
  • Excellent

Super easy to use and save photos straight into the normal photo folder on your phone. Perfect, you can’t go wrong.
  • An Amazing night camera

OMG this app was so amazing. I used in last night (24/1/19) to capture the Northern lights. It did a fantastic job. I didn’t have time to put onto a tripod as the lights came that quick. But still got great pictures. Thanks.
  • Very good and easy to use

Overall, this is a very simple, easy to use app yet very good at taking photos of the night sky.
The only feature I would really like to see is the ability to adjust the ISO.
  • Gave it a try

Tried to capture a awesome full moon rise over the Atlantic Ocean but it would drown out the image with to much exposure. I really think it’s a good app that could be great with a few more tweaks. Thank you designer, I will keep my eyes open for updates. I will also post a updated rating
