Could be so much easier

I’ve just installed a K3 on my BMW S1000XR. The device is unobtrusive and appears to work well.

Unfortunately, the app lets you down. Why, oh why, isn’t there a simple download function. I can get the data into the INNOVV app, but getting it out to external storage is so difficult. It’s also key to processing and producing usable videos from the material. Please do something.

App barely useable

This app is a mess. To call it glitchy is actually praise. It is poor quality and lets down the otherwise decent C5 camera.

Connecting it to the C5 system works ok, though the wifi connection cuts out occasionally. In the settings there are a couple of items which I don’t know what they control as there are only Chinese symbols identifying them! The same problem occurs on some error messages (at least I guess they are error messages).

When you click the camera symbol in the app, the camera automatically starts. Not my preference! When the app is connected with the C5 it sometimes seems to trigger recording without me wanting to.

Deleting video files is buggy as well. Sometimes files are being shown in the video folder on the card in the camera which I deleted. And inserting the card in the computer confirms that they are not on the card anymore.

Like others I am bewildered by the use of ts video files. I would have thought mp4 files is a very common standard nowadays.

Deletes wrong files.

Despite having reported this months ago there is still a bug where when you delete a local video file the wrong file gets deleted.
Please fix this ASAP.

Some stuff is in Chinese characters

I have the K5 and the menu has options listed in Chinese and I have no idea what it means.. gps setting all Chinese grr frustrating

Not Fit For Purpose

For the C5 camera system from INNOVV the App only stores videos in TF whereas to be download onto iPhone needs to be in MP4 ! App doesn’t let you change format to MP4 App isn’t fit for purpose . Don’t buy INNOVV C5 you’ll regret it Cannot believe app developers or INNOVV haven’t or just cannot be bothered to fix this 😡. Buying the C5 is a waste of money as the app is pointless. Doesn’t even deserve one star

IOS 13

App ok, can be a little glitchy. Doesn’t seem to be working with IOS 13 on my XR.

Crashes all the time

Crashes while performing basic functions. I have reached out to the developer and will update my review if they fix it.
