  • Rarely gets it right.

I’m sure this pushes the technology: A human face would be easier to recognise but time will tell
  • Needs way more

Way too vague with way too many possible results.
Should be able to take photos of specifics like you do for the plant apps. We could have: front = face; full side = stature, fur; back end = tail tail; paw = webbed or not, special markings; etc And then the app would put it all together.
  • inaccurate

said a staffy was a rhodesian ridgeback, thinks all spaniels are Sussex spaniels (despite sussexs being relatively rare???) waste of time
  • Isn't this a dog? Please explain if it not. 🤨

I took several photos of my three small dogs. Every single one was very clear. The app would come back every time with the message " this is not a dog" so if it isn't, please explain to me what I have. Your app clearly needs a lot of work. Yes, I have submitted feedback with a photo clearly showing my Chihuahua.

  • Impressed with this app!

Did in seconds what we have been trying to figure out for months and was spot on with what our dog looks like. Will definitely recommend.
  • Not that great

I was trying to figure out what my dog was, I knew that she was part chihuahua and I thought maybe a basenji, but when I did it it said that she was a golden retriever, a corgi, and some type of terrier.😐 a few times it sad chihuahua dog but I need it to be more specific. Not very accurate
  • Not sure

I had perfectly good photos of a dog and it said it needed a better photo each time I would try a different photo it would come up different then I would look up the dog and it wouldn’t be right it would be totally different
  • Ok

I used the same photo of my dog about ten times and each time it said a different dog the second time was right (Maltese terroir) and all the rest were like poodle and greyhound etc...😂
  • Yet to give a correct answer

I’ve not used this many times but it’s classed my Cavalier as a toy poodle first, then as a Shih Tzu, and some unknown breed as a West Highland Terrier (Which the unknown breed wasn’t - I wouldn’t have been looking it up if it was as I know what those look like).

I’ll keep using this in the hope it’s one day correct, but not really holding out any hope.

  • Police Dog?

The app requested a photo that clearly showed the dog’s body and face. I tried several photos of our dog that did just that (I used to do professional photography and am quite capable of snapping a clear photo). The app frustratingly kept saying it needed a better photo and after many attempts it finally returned an answer of “Police Dog”. That is not a dog breed. I assume it meant German Shepherd. Thought the app would be fun, but it was just a disappointing waste of time.
