This a substantial update with plenty of enhancements and new features! Key improvements include an app-wide design refresh, bug fixes, and a more efficient device setup process. We'v also enriched the device activity history and introduced many other new features. One such feature is the addition of glanceable photo thumbnails for your Knocki devices. This allows for easy identification of each device based on their specific mounting locations. Additionally, we're excited to announce direct integrations with Sonos and TP-Link Kasa, superseding the previous indirect connections through Yonomi. Please be aware that with the launch of the new app, the old Sonos and TP-Link integrations will no longer be active. To continue enjoying these services, you'll need to transition to the direct integrations.

General bug fixes. Please note that Philips has recently updated their Hue API to improve security. Since your Knocki account still uses the old Hue API (which is getting phased out), we are migrating your account to the new API. On June 14th at 10am CST, your Knocki account will automatically unlink from the old Philips Hue API. Therefore, you will need to manually relink your Philips Hue account via the Knocki app.

Reviews of Knocki

Garbage

Not one statement in the set up instructions is true. Not one. Nothing they tell you to do can be done. Nothing the app does in response to what you do is mentioned in their instructions. An example – you are told to turn on the device when the app tells you to. But the app never tells you to turn it on or how to turn it on. They just skipped that step. You have to intuit what you are doing. It appears these people are idiots.
