A Great App
This app is wonderful. A huge selection of colorful mini exercises and flows for any part of the day for any part of the body. Real, normal people in real, normal settings with appropriate music if you wish to show you how it’s done. Makes getting your moves done each day doable.
Not good for recommendations
I have been using this app for a couple of weeks and it's a great concept. However, I wanted an app that would remind me to get up and move around or do a wakeout every hour or so and this one doesn't do that. Also, when I do decide to take a few minutes, I hit the green button with the lightning bolt and it gives me a Wakeout to do. Unfortunately, even though there are many many Wakeout options, it keeps giving me the same six over and over again. when I asked the help bot how I can get more variety, it told me I have to manually search for it myself. So if you want to just click a button and get recommended a workout to do, it will keep giving you the same ones over and over again, and if you want variety, you have to search for it manually. for an app that claims to use AI, that doesn't seem great. This would be a five star app for me if it would automatically give you more variety. having to hunt or search for a one minute workout to do is not very convenient.

New features are so nice!
I actually downloaded this app a couple years ago and liked it but canceled my subscription … I do not think I will be doing that again! I always liked the exercises, which are just “intense” enough (although none of them are actually “intense” hahah) to make me feel like I got something out of them but easy enough that I don’t feel tired afterward — just energized. I also really like their daily movement goal (“Watts”) that they added since the last time I had the app. Too many apps make you feel like if you didn’t run five miles, it’s a wasted day. Wakeout helps combat my sedentary 9-5 in a way that is accessible and friendly. (And it will take your Apple Health activity into account too!)

App is great, no customer support
Love the app, particularly after the latest update as it’s really got me moving more. I decided to renew for another year in September then I had 2 issues that I couldn’t solve via their AI bot’s advice. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a response and still waiting. I have lost one day of progress data (deleting and reinstalling app didn’t work - which was suggested by bot) and I can’t get Mac app to link to my account and be aware of my iOS app. Annoying asking for help and getting no response. I have also checked website for other support channels and there is no email. Social Media seem dead for a year now.

Great support from the developers
I was having problems with the app after a recent update. I contacted Pedro and his team. The support they have given me in dealing with the problem has been first class. Pedro went the extra mile to make sure the problem was resolved. I just love Wakeout. It really is the best exercise app and nudges you to stop being sedentary.

Refreshing
I like the videos. They are realistic, refreshing, and user-friendly. I enjoy these exercises. I can feel the stretching and I know that they’re helping me. When I stop from sitting and I just stand up and do these stretches I can feel the difference immediately afterwards.
I’ve used lots of apps and this one to me is more pleasurable and more functional. If I could improve this app, I would allow for it to give me credit for doing exercises elsewhere. Like I work out 3 to 5 days a week and with the personal trainer. I attend one Pilates class each week and I attend one Exercise Coach where there is resistance training also. I’m wearing my watch when I do these so I don’t know what my watch is recording when I do these exercises but anyway I’m very pleased with Wakeout

Great app but needs some fixes/enhancements
This app works very well at offering a way to take healthy breaks while working or lounging. The options for these mini breaks are extensive and well illustrated with videos and music, but some features are missing that would make it more effective, like reminders to turn it on at key times in your day, ability to “favorite” selected routines, or for the preference section to actually save your problems after you hit save!! There may be more but I’ve just started using the app and these are the gaps I’ve found so far. I have a condition that causes “post exercise malaise” so these mini sessions are just perfect for me, so I will continue to use the app but would like to see these omissions corrected to make it even better!
Would also be great to have it connect to Apple Watch to record exercise.

The idea is good
This is a great idea and I do love the way it tells me if my sedentary index is high. However, there are far too many seated exercises and not enough choice of standing ones. If I’m spending too much time sitting, as clearly I am, then surely I should be getting up out of my chair for my movement breaks! Of course I understand that you’re also catering for people in wheelchairs but you need to cater for others too. So please let’s have more choice of standing exercises and then I will give you more stars and renew my subscription.
