I love this app! It gives me new ideas to try, and helps me progress faster. Plus, I ask questions and people get back to me asap. Very happy I downloaded!Sageequestrian
Absolutely terrible
I downloaded Ridely in July of 2021 and loved it, it really helped me and it was cool to easily be able to look back at my old rides/videos and compare.(Plus tracking rides was super easy and fun.)
It was fine for a good couple months, but in probably January of 2022 it stopped working. It said I had logged out and I couldn’t log back in. The app said to put my email in and then it said it sent a link to that email so it could be verified, but when I clicked the link it said it didn’t exist.
(I downloaded a different app and was using that for most of 2022.)
I tried once again to log back into Ridely in January of 2023, and I got it to work. But everything had been reset in my account and I lost probably 6-7 months worth of tracked rides from 2021. (I take lessons 2-3 days a week, so there was a lot of rides on there).

Clunky ineffective sync with Apple Watch
This app has too much going on. It needs to be made simpler to sync with Apple Watch. The only way the phone app would connect with the watch is to start a ride on the watch, which then logged more rides that never happened. Those rides didn’t appear on my phone anyway. Waste of time. Maybe a useful app if you want to sit on the lounge watching videos. Not useful if you want to actively use the app riding functionality without carting your phone everywhere. Won’t be going beyond the free trial. Certainly not worth the money in the context of what I’m looking for.Show lessTangwyn

The tracker in the app is included in the free version so you don't need to have a PRO subscription to use that functionality so you can play around with it for free. It would be great to know which OS version you have on your phone and also please check which WatchOS version that you have. Please email to teamridely@ridely.com or answer here if that is easier. I have been trying to pay for my plan and it is impossible. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but for some reason it does not give me any more steps beyond the fact that I say I want to subscribe. such a shame it looks great!nz horses

I really love using Ridely but I would love a bit of help when it comes to somethings but then I can’t watch the videos because they’re only for pro users which you have to pay for 😩😩Selina & Nancy
It’s a great tool for any owner or rider
It’s perfect but I think for me it’s a little expensive. However it is worth it for the information gained and logged and also the education links to many great riders who are from families who have multiple generations of elite equestrian athletes.supersnelly

Pretty solid but a little glitchy
I definitely like the app overall for tracking daily routines!
However when I click on a particular day from the calendar view, it shows the activities from the prior day too which is kind of annoying since it can be a little confusing.
I’d also love to be able to select more than one activity type for the same activity! For example sometimes if I go for a hack & then have a dressage school after in the same ride. Or if I had a dressage school but incorporated cavaletti/poles into the ride! I’ve been recording two activities the same day, I just time the hack separately from the dressage ride which works for now though!Show lessTurtleLlama
