App needs updated

This app does not work very well with iPhone 14/15. You cannot use the back button very easily when browsing recipes. Some text is behind the Dynamic Island. One of my other issues is when you are browsing recipes and if you are able to get the back button to work, you are taken to the top of the list.

Love it but needs improvement

I love the oven and all the features it comes with, my one complaint is that everything has to be done from the screen on the oven. I really like that I can find recipes and send it to the oven, what I wish I could do is set up a custom cook on my phone and then just send it to the oven so it’s ready to cook all I have to do is start it. Going through the menus on the screen to set up a custom cook is not very user friendly.

Annoying logouts

My account logs out randomly every month and the reset functionality doesn’t work from the app. 🤮

No support from the company.

I’ve written the company multiple times over the last 6 months asking when there will be proper notifications added to the Brava oven. As it is there’s only a pop up banner type notification so if you’re not looking at your iPhone or Apple Watch screen when it pops up you’re not going to be notified. I’ve literally begged for at least a tactile or haptic notification but it wasn’t included in the latest software update. A sound notification would be awesome but it just isn’t happening. The oven itself is okay but overpriced. You will need to rethink how you cook and pretty much without using sauces or marinades.
If I had it to do over I wouldn’t have made the purchase.

Decent app; amazing oven

2022 Updated Review: STILL No iPad App. Inexcusable—but still an amazing appliance.

Honestly the only thing keeping me from giving this a 5/5 is that it’s iPhone only. I have an iPad I keep in the kitchen for recipes and other stuff, and that I have to use it in portrait mode using a blown up iPhone app is inexcusable in 2020. Get your iOS developer to spend a week getting the app laid out for an iPad and it’ll be perfect.

Search is broken

Brava is great and all but search is completely broken at least with an iPhone pro max. Search never moves from the loading indicator and if you go to custom cooks it just crashes.

I’m updating this review because the problem still exists: on a iPhone 13 max search functionality is still completely busted. The app is pretty much useless. Apple is going to go onto the iPhone 14 soon enough… it’s crazy this problem hasn’t been fixed. Does the Brava team even know how to use the simulators?! Or afford even 1 test device?

App doesn’t work with IPhone 13-pro

I love the Brava oven and this App worked well with my IPhone 11 but when I upgraded to the IPhone 13-pro the App failed to work consistently. I have reloaded everything and Re logged in and it still doesn’t connect well. I don’t see any fixes in the knowledge base. And Brava is so busy I can’t get them on the phone. A 995 oven should have a more reliable support system!!! Most of the time the app fails to connect to the Brava so I can’t see camera feed.

Great Oven, One App Suggestion

Love the oven. Could you make the iPhone/Apple Watch app have a haptic. It alerts me but no haptic which is useful when I am in another room.

Needs to work correctly on iPad

An iPad is so much more convenient to use in a kitchen. This app needs to be updated to work full-screen on an iPad, with auto-rotate so it can be viewed in either landscape or portrait mode. Landscape mode is critical for use when entering custom cook instructions with an iPad keyboard.
