Love it

Puts me to sleep instantly. Different options for different moods. Something for everyone

Such a good app!

I’m using the free one-week trial, but I think I’m going to pay the $50/year for it. (I spend that much on a single shopping trip at Target.)

You can get a lot of sounds (the whale one is surprisingly my favorite) and you can mix a lot of them too. I haven’t tried the stories (the whales or other sounds usually do it for me) but they look interesting and a like the options. Haven’t tried the meditations either.

The only bad things are: the names of the different sounds are a little hard to read- the font is too light and thin. And I wish the different soundscapes didn’t automatically download whenever you just tapped on them, before listening - I’d love to have the option to download after I listen for a bit. Other than that, it’s great! 😍

I’m focusing on the stories in this review

Ok I struggle a lot with sleep, and this app helps me soooo much with falling asleep it’s literally ridiculous. But my only problem is that there’s only three free stories and I don’t want to have to pay no matter how much it is for premium so if y’all see this can you please add more stories for people using it for free? But other than that it works absolute Miracles

Money grab

7-day free trial then paid subscription afterwards. I’ve seen other similar apps have a successful model of a free version that has limited content and the option to pay for premium content the user selects rather than getting everything. I’d advise devs to look into this model for their app - I’d like to choose which content I’m paying for, thanks. Hard pass on this money grab app.

Hey Mike, there's some really valuable feedback in this review, so while we're sad to see a one-star, which we don't feel tells the full story we do thank you for taking the time. We give away a generous; 5 stories, 5 soundscapes, a bedtime meditation and over 30 composer sounds for free, this is to showcase the quality of our content, however, as we are adding new content each week internally, we have been discussing releasing more for free. We're currently updating the look and feel and adding some new exciting features within the app, once these changes have been made, you'll be glad to know we will be reviewing our free offering. If you have any further feedback on the app, we'd love to hear from you at support@sleepiest.com, until then, sweet dreams 💜🐨

Developers, please read.

I had to come back. I saw on it on an ad, it was pestering me for weeks and one night I was scared to sleep, and I had been experiencing it for around a week. I used the app and it was amazing! I listened to “Sweet Dreams” and I fell asleep in around less than 5 minutes. I think was even less than that. I even lucid dreamt that night! I hope the people behind this see my review, thank you so much. You helped me sleep whilst I was in fear, afraid and alarmed at the smallest things, whilst my thoughts were telling me something’s there even when there wasn’t, and every time I closed my eyes I saw things. Before I had your app I had to sleep when the sun was coming up in the AM and force my tired and slumbered body to stay awake until then. Thank you so much, that night I felt safe, the owner of the voice soothing me and telling me everything was okay, I truly felt like it was for a while, thank you so much, you and the developers and helpers of this app mean so much to me.

Hey there, thank you so much for leaving such a detailed and kind review. Reading this kind of thing really does mean the world to the whole team who have put so much into making the app into what it is today. From the entire time, thank you and sweet dreams. Sleepiest 💜🐨

You can sleep on this... for now

Tried the paid app. There’s potential here. But not $50 potential. You have some endless electronic loops that could make Brian Eno blush, but not many of them. There are classic bedtime stories read by really good actors and possibly most intriguing is a mix that you make from various sleepy sounds like trains, waterfalls, rainstorms ASMR hits, etc (limit of 12) The problem with the stories is not everyone is going to nod off by the end of a 20 minute story and No queue capability to string stories together. So it is weird that they baked a sleep timer into stories the gives you option of end of story which is the same as just playing g the story since that’s all you’ll hear or up to 60 minutes which will come long after the story is over. You have to get up and manually play another one. That’s not going to help matters.

Next, The problem with the DIY and premade music mixes is that while they’re very nice they’re sure to get monotonous unless there are constant updates going on. We are talking about an app that purports to put you to sleep every night after all.

Worst of all, you have the option to download stories but the app work without a connection! What’s the point of that?

Potential but I’m not keeping this app.

I’ve never fallen asleep so fast! ❤️

This app is absolutely amazing! So far I have only used the Free version but I am seriously considering buying the Paid version because how amazing this app is. Even in the Free version you can pick from specific sounds, stories, and even have the option to create your own unique combinations of sounds (I always fall asleep whenever it’s rainy or when I’m in a car, and the app allows me to play both the sound of driving and the sound of a rain storm at the same time, which is SO GOOD OMG!). There are a variety of stories to choose from even in the Free version and each one is so relaxing for sleeping. Love it! I recommend to anyone who struggles to fall asleep 👼🏻✨🌙😴

Cost vs experience

I have to start off by saying: I absolutely loved my free trial of this product. It works exactly as they stated. I don’t think there was a single night where I didn’t fall asleep within 3-5 minutes after putting one of the stories on. However, I absolutely HATE subscription service apps. I want to eventually say that I “own” something after an investment, and with a subscription, you constantly pay into it but you never actually “own” it. That’s not for me. Not only that, but as others have stated, the subscription is pricey. I would be willing to pay $20 for this app and have fewer features (ie a limited number of stories perhaps) but know that I actually “own” the app and can take a break and then come back to it down the road rather than any type of a subscription. If devs ever go this route, count me in any day! The app is quality and I do enjoy it and would definitely purchase a condensed version, but subscription services just aren’t for me. If you are okay with subscriptions though, I would check this app out. It was wonderful!

Hey there, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such in-depth and valuable feedback. We understand where you are coming from with regards for your distaste in subscription apps but we feel we have a valuable case for it remaining our model. If Sleepiest was a completed product then a one-off cost would make the most sense, however, the reality is, each and every week we continue to add new content. In addition to that, we're currently working on a brand new version of Sleepiest which has a host of new features. Keeping our subscribers happy is of huge importance to us and is a big motivator to keep us pushing the app and its content forward. We value you as a user and we hope that you can understand our reasoning. Wishing you sweet dreams, Sleepiest 💜🐨

Sleepiest the saviour

Recently I have began to have trouble with sleeping. I searched for ways to cease my troubles and that is when I came across... SLEEPIEST!!! Over the last few nights I have been continuously listening to the sound of rain falling and it has quite rapidly changed my entire sleep pattern! The sound plays for 1 hour or how ever many times you desire and in this time I have fallen sleep with no worries or fears and have grown quite attached to it. There are many stories including: Alice in wonderland, Sherlock Holmes and the mountains or California... each story is guided through by a variety of speakers, which relax you and prepare you for a peaceful sleep! There are also may sounds you can listen to depending on your chosen sound of relaxation.
I hope this has given you some insight into Sleepiest and how it truly does help your sleep.
