  • New App Review

Wow, just wow!!! I just downloaded the app 😃 I am amazed at being a beginner user of your app. Also the ad caught my eye, popping up on the screen after confirming with myself of the full moon being tonight April 23rd. I am one to have seen Planet Nibiru (made up of gases) will my Apple Phone. I actually have a picture of it. I showed it back in 2015 to MUFON, they insisted that was a photo of my thumb finger but my thumb finger is not perfectly round it’s oblong. Also it was a lot going on in my presence in the night sky that particular night, The Hunter Moon was being observed in the night sky. I also witnessed two portals open up, not going into detail, but it was definitely a Cosmic Life experience. I have a photo and everything came out perfect. I’ve always followed the Universe my entire adult Life. Always looking up.

Thanks for helping me to see the Universe clearer 👍🏾🥰

We sincerely appreciate your detailed and thoughtful feedback. Thank you so much for your kind words!
  • Turn OFF the sound!

No one wants an evening star app that notifies them then BLASTS beating drums and marching music when they open it. If there is a way to turn OFF the music and noise, they sure don’t make it obvious. It might be an ok app otherwise, but it’s NO good to even check out if you can’t turn the music off. Hey developers, please make an easy way to shut it off or people won’t want to subscribe (or is that what’s included in the subscription)?
Update after receiving a response from the developer: No, it’s NOT my music that’s playing. It only happens when I open your app in response to a notification that the ISS is about to fly over. The music and sound I hear sounds like something I would hear during an ad for a conquering game (although the game never appears so I can’t close it). It might be something that is set by the advertising cookies that users can’t turn off. Try it and you’ll hear it. We replicated it on a friend’s phone too.

Please send a video with what you've described to our support team at support@vitotechnolog.com, they do love blast beats.
  • Doesn’t ID what you see in the sky

This app does not allow you to track all the satellites that pass over your location.

Instead, you get to choose one item (satellite, space station, debris, etc.) from a long list of names that may or may not be what you see. After you select an item you must jump to a live view mode to see where that item— and only that item— is.

You cannot select more than one object at a time. Thus, you must rush to find the item you see before it orbits out of view. Then hop back to the list to try again and again. There is no way to filter or sort all the objects. Often there are one hundred or more satellites in seemingly random order.

If you already know a specific satellite and want to find it, this app might be helpful.

If you want to find out what’s up there above you (like a airplane or ship tracker), or determine where to look for the next satellite that will pass overhead, you will be very disappointed.

    Developer Response

Indeed. that app allows you to track a pre-made list of satellites, as the description clearly states. If you want to identify random objects in the sky, we recommend trying Sky Tonight or Star Walk 2.
