Freezes and lags way too often.

Keep adding new things but won’t make the app run faster even when I’m using WiFi and not service the app takes entirely too long to open any pools or work orders, I spend most my time waiting for the app to open my pool and not getting stuck rather than trying to finish my job. If you’d stop adding and make your servers run faster I’d give the app 5 stars.

Excellent but not (yet) perfect

We have been using Skimmer Pro since April 2019 and while it is not perfect, it is quite fabulous! We could not run multiple routes without it. They have made great improvements over the years, and are always striving to improve and offer a better product to their clients. Hiccups occur occasionally, as will all things stored in the cloud. But overall we are very pleased and would be hard pressed to make the switch to a new platform as so much data is already stored and organized. My one big wish is the day we can export all data to Excel. That would be priceless!

Help IPhone 13 mini

Great app but to do list is cut off on the right side can only see it saying “don” instead of saying done 1w ago etc. is there anyway to fix this ? Ty

Price increase doesn’t reflect better functionality

I’ve been using the app for 3 years, the price increased to include billing and text messaging through the interface.

The texting is an additional per text fee, and to continue using the features I’ve set up skimmer is charging $2/month/customer to keep the features I use.

The new billing interface takes time to set up, is different from the old and completely changes the billing for my customers!

So expect price increases and having to periodically adjust your business to suit Skimmer.

Notes to Tech

Would like to add notes for tech to see for certain pools and request for that day.

If used correctly, Skimmer is a game-changer. Love this software and company!

Needs Improvement

The app does as preformed and advertised, however I don’t understand how it takes it seems 10 years to login when I sign in and out, it’s 2023 not 2003, loading times should reflect the improvement in technology. Also just minor bugs and when the app seems to glitch or when you finish a pool but you have to “refinish” it again and of course you have to wait the famous loading/buffering times
And it says please upload photo, I get that you can only use a “current” picture but would be nice to upload as I and others also use a time stamp camera application to ensure customers of time.

But over all it’s good.

Skimmer spends a lot of money on marketing, new features not so

We’ve transitioned to skimmer for the strt of the 2022 season and it was/is a good app, but it’s not great if you plan to scale - it’s just not that robust. You have to go into QBO for quotes, you can’t mass edit items through skimmer, you can’t see balance from skimmer. All in all we are grateful to skimmer for getting us thinking about software and now we are hooked. Happy to be rolling out Pool Office Manager for the 2023 season. I see skimmer as a decent app for 2-5 techs but not much more, like I said they spend a lot on trade shows though and there is power to being a first mover.

Can y’all add a feature

Can y’all add the ability to have beware of dogs in red so we can let others coving are pools know there are dogs

Perfect for me

So far everything has been great, switched from pay the pool man 4 months ago. This is light years ahead. Speed and functionality alone compared to others, excited for more updates.
