Stupid simple
I was a new pool owner. Still am. However I don’t feel like it. Between buying a good robust Taylor kit, this app, and some hour a week, I know how to manipulate and manage my pool to my liking. The app makes the math easy and it is verified by the results I get when I follow up after chem additions 24hrs later. Can’t be happier with the app and its results.
Only thing I want added is the ability to toggle the alerts for “out of ideal range” off. If I’m setting my ideal target already, then benchmark the alerts to that,or allow us to toggle them off,or allow manual ranges to be set. Otherwise I’m satisfied.Show lessAR15dood
An absolute necessity
Before I found this app, I had spent at least a hundred dollars each month on chemicals, and was getting frustrated reading pool maintenance articles online. Since I found this app, I only buy bleach to keep it chlorinated, and I skim the bugs out and do vacuuming and scrubbing every few days, along with filter cleaning. So much easier and cheaper now - I have saved a ton of money and will continue to for every month this pool stays open every year! Very thankfulShow less2737363626262727
Update is awful. Completely different app.
Why change perfection?! This is not progress, I been a devoted user for several years and this app was an indispensable tool that was unmatched by any other pool app but this radical update has changed this into something not considered as progress. They layout is cluttered and not any easier to navigate. I hope the developer is reading these comments about this feedback and taking a deep thoughtful consideration into returning back the app to it's format and design. I really dislike this completely NEW app design and already starting to look another tool format like this was originally.

We've made some changes in the most recent update (brought back 'time ago' dates, added back target levels to the overview tiles, increased color contrast, and more). We plan to continue iterating on feedback about the visual changes to make things better for all. However, the main components and navigation of the app are structurally still same, but we did make some changes to how some fields on each page are arranged to help with things like users needing larger fonts, as well as adding more descriptions in the app for users who are newer to the app. This is an area we are open to feedback to keep improving (eg: would having a way to toggle off some of the descriptions help make things feel less cluttered if you're already familiar with those parts of the app?). It would be great if you could reach out to poolmath@troublefreepool.com with more details about which changes you are finding more cluttered and other constructive feedback so we can work to improve things.
