I used this app to stream/mirror movies from movie apps and now it tells me that certain apps don’t allow the mirroring. Is basically usless because that’s what it’s for. Can anyone fix this because the app worked flawless before other apps blocked it. ThanksLG163

Hi, thanks for your review. What app are you using for watching movies? As mentioned in the app description, some apps block Screen Mirroring, for instance, Netflix. The best way to check if an app has blocked Screen Mirroring, is to perform a regular 'screen recording' selecting the camera roll as destination (not our app). If the recorded video shows the app you want to mirror, it works fine. If the video is empty, then the app you want to mirror does not allow Screen Mirroring. Unfortunately, this issue is out of our control. However, you should be able to mirror content from all other apps that allow Screen Mirroring. I am a Peloton user and needed to cast my strength and floor workouts to another room this app made it easier to cast the workouts and also show slideshows from my phone Now other family members can watch without eyestrain!Walkj89

The app works, is it perfect no. There is a extremely noticeable delay when trying to stream movies or anything else. But the functionality is there.Xidek47
Don’t waste $
Extremely slow. Didn’t work. Waste of money. Not sure if I’m entitled to some form of refund? Probably not but it does not work i played a few different movies and videos (No need to buffer they were already downloaded) on my iPhone and it was just a still screen with play button fast forward and back but wasn’t playing when connected to tv. Once app was closed and completely deleted the same videos were playing fine on my phone no issue.Show lessHevans7003

Hi, it might be that the app you are using is blocking screen mirroring. Some apps do block that. This means that application developers can choose themselves if they want to block Screen Mirroring. There is a simple test that you can do to see if the app that you want to mirror has blocked Screen Mirroring: Open that particular app and slide up Control Center on your iPhone/iPad. Then, click on Screen Recording and start recording the screen to your Camera Roll. Watch the app that you want to mirror and at some point stop the screen recording. Then go to your Photos app and watch the video that was recorded. If the recorded video shows the app you want to mirror, it works fine. If the video is empty, then the app you want to mirror does not allow Screen Mirroring. Unfortunately, this issue is out of our control. However, you should be able to mirror content from all other apps that allow Screen Mirroring. If this is the only thing you purchased the app for, you can always get a refund from Apple. As long as both your phone and the tv are communicating on the same wifi network, it works great. Don’t let your tv access your wired network. Unplug the Ethernet cord if you have to until after you’re done using this app.Team Ponte
Not usable constant buffering
Installed on my iPad, found my LG TV and connected, looked good up to this point.
Initially noticed a massive lag between my iPad screen and the TV and not even streaming yet. 30 to 60 delay between operations and the mirror.
Started streaming but every 15 seconds it would begin buffering for about 15 seconds. And that is the best I got.
Tried changing channels on my hub, put my iPad and TV on there own channel, but still the same.
Total waste of money, just not usable at all.
I will be pushing for a refund, the rest of you move on and find another app.Show lessherysuhdgdgdud

With regards to the latency, normally, on an LG TV, you should experience between 1 and 3 seconds latency. If you are seeing more latency than that, please send us your diagnostics information (you can do this from within the app, please refer to this review in the comment field). When we receive this information, we can check if there is something amiss in the communication between your LG TV and your iPhone in your local network.A slight delay
There is a slight delay, maybe a couple seconds, between phone and television. But this is a wonderful option if you don’t happen to have an Apple TV.jackolanternbuns
