The app didn’t work for me at all when I first installed it. But I used the program’s built-in support contact feature to describe my problem, and someone was back to me within two hours. Their instructions for fixing the issue were spot on. Now the app works beautifully — I love it!pados_music
Not Good
I’m one to not write a review however if I find something absurd I will make a comment. Every time I would connect to this app so I can mirror my tv I would immediately get an error when I would connect to safari. I think the most upsetting part is that not only this app doesn’t work it cost me $5 bucks. Any who stay away from the app. It doesn’t work as advertised. Most likely will summit a complaint with apple regarding this app.Show lessJoeHerrera23

Buffers all the time.
I use the app to stream from Peloton App on my iPad to my LG-TV. I also get the weird crop, which I assume is just a data issue from the iPad to the TV, not an issue with the purpose I have. my HUGE issue is even on pre-loaded content I get buffering and lag. There is significant lag between the iPad and the TV, again don’t really care. The buffering is a huge issue, hard to get a consistent work out looking at a rolling series of balls on the screen. I have not found the work around yet. I could just go back to HDMI cord and my laptop, just wanted a more convenient solution.Show lessGayPedalPaPa

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write a review about our Mirror for LG Smart TV app. When video buffers a lot, this is most of the time due to (temporary) poor local network conditions. Usually, that is fixed by switching your router off and on. If that does not fix the problem, please send us your diagnostics information (you can do this from within the app). When we receive this information, we can check if there is something amiss in the communication between your LG TV and your iPad in your local network.Yikes
Not good at all. The app claims to allow you to stream movies to your LG TV, but every time I’ve tried to connect my iPad with the Apple TV app to watch a movie, either the video will stream with no sound, or it won’t even load the video at all. Not to mention the weird crop it puts on the TV...
It may work with a few things (with a time delay), but the app’s use is so limited it can just be considered useless. Don’t waste your time with it.Show lessthomakob000

Hi, it might be that the app you are using for playing movies (Netflix, HBO Go?) is blocking screen mirroring. Some apps do block that. This means that application developers can choose themselves if they want to block Screen Mirroring. For instance, Netflix has decided to block this. There is a simple test that you can do to see if the app that you want to mirror has blocked Screen Mirroring: Open that particular app and slide up Control Center on your iPhone/iPad. Then, click on Screen Recording and start recording the screen to your Camera Roll. Watch the app that you want to mirror and at some point stop the screen recording. Then go to your Photos app and watch the video that was recorded. If the recorded video shows the app you want to mirror, it works fine. If the video is empty, then the app you want to mirror does not allow Screen Mirroring.Longtime iphone user = Worst app on my iPhone
I’ve been downloading apps since 2010, so I have a fair few apps. Some apps I use all the time, some apps gather dust to be honest. I spent a few dollars thinking this app will mirror my iPhone to my tv. This app never works, terrible. Avoid at all costs! 💯AC Nova

Like everyone else says in the reviews it has about a 5 second lag delay and last year you said this would be fixed in about August and December and you still have not fixed this issue, this is the only reason why I barely use this app. If you make an app like this for $8.00 (NZD) it better be worth it!Show lessMondestar123

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review. We reduced latency significantly for LG TV compared to before. We were able to achieve good latency for some of the new TVs. For other TVs, we are still working towards bringing it to real time. We will soon reach you with good news on this.worth a download
the app works & it is good. however, it does lag (the video on your phone will be playing for a good 10 seconds before it mirrors on the tv). also, the content does not display full screen on the tv, it just sits in the centre of the tv.raaaabi

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review us. Are you mirroring from your iPad or iPhone? If its an iPad, then the content will be at the center of your TV. The reason being that your iPad has another aspect ratio compared to your TV. Your TV is 16:9 and your iPad is 4:3. This means that when the image would be projected full screen, either the top or the sides of the iPad screen would not be shown on TV. They would be cut off. Therefore we are showing the maximum of the iPad on TV, without distorting the image or cutting parts of it. However, when mirroring from iPhone to TV, the mirroring will be in full screen as the aspect ratio of iPhone is 16:9, which is similar to the aspect ratio of your TV.It works but...
It has problems.
First, there is usually about a 2 second delay that what is happening gets on the screen.
Second, the mirror can be really laggy.
