I love the concept of the game, it’s a grinding, looting, and work to earn type of game. I just have 4 problems of the game that I wish to improve:
#1 (Getting Resources takes to long)
- Getting resources takes so much time because it’s usually rare to get it. For an example getting iron, sliver, and gold requires literally hours of mining to get at least 10 ores, however that’s not even enough items to do much crafting. Also, the loot the mobs drop are so whack because it’s amount of luck you need. I had to kill 10 chicken to get just an egg. It may sound dramatic but that’s the truth in my POV. When you kill slime you get just sap or bones like that’s it. Reason why I say that’s it because slimes barely spawn for me. In my opinion if something have rare spawn rate you’d expect to get good loot drops from the rare mob.
# 2 (Lack of Info)
- The amount of times I have to google how to craft, make, or where to find items in this game is tedious. Reason being is that not many players post how to do things that are up to date or don’t know how to explain things correctly. I wish that you’ll provide a better tutorial on how to do things. I pretty much self taught myself on how to play the game. You need lots of information for new players because you are playing blind and you don’t really have much tutorial besides the one the game gives you, however that in game tutorial is still isn’t enough info you need to enjoy the game in my opinion.
#3 ( Low Spawning Rate)
- The spawning rate for mobs and bosses in single player and even multiplayer player are absolutely terrible. Like In game I am in Day 88 and still haven’t seen the Giant Worm. I’ve mine out the second level to make it so big and empty to increase the spawn rate but I don’t get much mobs down there. I also spent hours just waiting and mining to get it to spawn and yet I still haven’t seen it. I NEED to kill the Giant
Worm so I can progress in the game, like you don’t understand how annoying it is for me to work so much just to progress and get little rewards for my efforts
#4 (Low durable items)
- So I understand the concept that you need to get other resources to make an item. Like an axe and pickaxe you need String, Stick, and Rocks. My issue with that is I need to make 20 axes or pickaxe to get job done. The fact I have to make that much is because the low tier tools have terrible durability. The durability of getting a low tier tool is extremely low, however if you were to get copper tier tools it’s still pretty low in durability. Like it makes more sense if you have low tier weapons or tools it will have low health but in order for you to get higher tiers items you need to be progressing (which is incredibly slow due to what I said), getting resources (which again is time consuming), killing bosses (that don’t spawn). So I will understand more when I have to deal with low durable items, but I can’t because getting higher tier items is through money or unbelievable amount of time to get the items.
So in conclusion don’t get this game if u aren’t into slow progress games, but if u are into all that stuff like I am then play it. It’s fun to an extent but it does get boring real fast due to many things.
