  • Useless after some years!!!!

    May 2024: not possible to pair via Bluetooth anymore. Nothing available on the web to try to solve on our own (most recent thing is from 2019!!!)
    Please give some help to users who one day trusted your devices!

  • Poor Quality, Expensive, Firmware Doesn’t Download

    I’ve had my Polaroid zip for a few years now. It used to work fine but over the past year I’ve noticed the print quality decline (photos look low res but they aren’t) and now it leaves a noticeable white edge at the top of the photo when printed. I’ve tried countless times to download the firmware but it doesn’t seem to work. I have the fastest broadband so it appears to download the update super quickly but I can’t get it to install. It keeps telling me it failed. I even deleted the app and started again but it didn’t make a difference, still failed to install. Time to invest in a different brand now. The sticker paper is expensive too.

  • Quick pics

    Nice to get photos quickly but my firmware won’t update. I waited for an hour with no movement past 0%.

  • Fine except for one screen.

    It seems to work just fine, I managed to use it to print off a photo, but it seems a bit of a pain considering how oddly zoomed in the screen to move your photo is. You won’t know if it properly fits until the preview screen and have to go back and adjust from there. I’m using an 9.7 inch Ipad Pro, if the device matters.
    I’ll update this review should anything change.

  • SCAM and CASH GRAB- DO NOT INSTALL UPDATE!

    I hadn’t used this printer for a year or so but it was working just fine. Then I made the mistake of updating the firmware and immediately afterwards ALL of the paper I have (over 10 packs!) is mysteriously a “paper mismatch!” I’ve tried four different packs that are identical to the paper that was working immediately before this firmware update and nope, nothing. They’re sure quick to offer to link me to a website where I can buy new ZINK paper at over $1 a print though! Tossing over $100 in the trash apparently. This is an absolute scam and a blatant cash grab. Garbage device and company that is not trustworthy at all. From all the numerous recent reviews it’s obvious many others are experiencing similar disappointments. Congrats, you’ve ruined the name of a once well established and respected photography company.

    Hello, We are troubled to hear that you are not able to use your Zink paper. In this case we need to ensure that the barcode side of the calibration sheet is face down. If the paper is still reading mismatch and it is Polaroid Branded Zink paper, there could either be trouble with the device or that specific lot of photo paper. The App is only designed to display error codes that the device itself is giving. We recommend contacting our support team at cspolaroid@camarketing.com so that we can look into this properly.   • Absolute GARBAGE

    Hasn't worked well for years.

    2023: Doesn't work at all with Zip anymore. Piece of absolute TRASH.

  • why doesn’t this work anymore!

    It used to work well, but as soon as i select a photo the printer disconnects. I’ve tried alltge trouble shooting steps i could find - reset printer, delete and reinstall the app, update my iOS, THEN reinstall app AND restart printer. Tried all those steps in different sequences, nothing works. Awful and very frustrating.

  • App Crashes when trying to update firmware

    Only have 1 issue with this app and that is the firmware update in settings. Everything else about the app is easy to use and understand.

    I haven't used my zip in a few years. When I open the App I get a message to update firmware. If I click yes, the app crashes and force quits. Also does this when going to settings within app to update firmware. I can still use the app to print with the old firmware but why make new firmware if you can’t install it.
