Hints need help
I really enjoyed the first game so I paid for this one. This one unfortunately has much less helpful hints— I’ve been stuck at the point where I need to look for a key in the sewers for a long while now. I finally found a comment on a youtube video explaining how to navigate the sewers, no clue where this info is in the game (NWSW if you were also wondering) but this only led me to a mine key and not the key I need. Because there aren’t three sequential hints this time, my only guide is the hint “I should look around the sewers for Clive’s key”, which is extremely unhelpful as the sewers result in a death end if you don’t know exactly where to turn and there isn’t a way to activate the metal detector. If the app designer also had a walkthrough, or even just made the hints as useful as their first game, I would be rating this much higher with no issue. As of right now I can’t really recommend this app, but I do recommend the first game as a fun quick text adventure

Another great story
This sequel to Horror in the Darkness is another fantastic text adventure. I played through all four of these in the space of a couple of weeks. I recommend upgrading to premium to use the rapid-map transit feature.
Addicting text game for Lovecraft nerds
I binged all of these games in a few days. Totally worth upgrading and supporting the designer too
Can’t Get Into The Water Treatment Plant
Obviously that’s where I need to go, but the hint is pretty much useless when it says “go here” and nothing else when it’s locked and it won’t let me use the key.
I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what but I restarted the app and the option to open or unlock the gate just isn’t there.
The hint needs to be more than just “go here”
Also the other one wasn’t very scary and so far neither is this one.

Right Direction
Definitely an improvement on the previous title. Worth $2 for what you get. Still prefer the text adventures where you type everything. Love the introduction of dialogue
Another great game from Karmic Shift Studios
These games are awesome. Just finished playing Horror at Innsport (after completing Horror in the Darkness), and another 5 stars from me!
This on had a few additional challenges (compared to Darkness), and took me a bit of back and forth & some left-of-centre thinking to get through and find the things needed to complete the game.
Loved it! Text based adventures bring me back to the ‘wholesome’ (well, wholesome as can be when you take into account the horror aspects...) fun I had playing these games as a kid - when dot matrix printers and multi-coloured screens on computers were a luxury!!!
Innsport is great, the others have free and premium versions, but having played both versions on Horror in the Darkness, I highly recommend everyone pay the small price for premium. It’s well worth it (less basic, definitely longer and more thought provoking!).
Thank you Karmic Shift Studios for keeping the ‘old school’ fun alive and entertaining.
I’ll be moving on now to Horror in the Pacific and Madness at Hobbsgate...then I’m lost!!! Would absolutely love to see more in the future!

Awesome sequel
Loved this entry in the series almost as much as the first. Great plot and creepy locations! Continuing to thoroughly enjoy all of these games by this awesome developer. Incredibly enjoyable.
Even better sequel
Great balance of story and puzzles.
Incredible
Both clever and funny, the game is incredible and deserves commendation
Very entertaining game
I enjoyed this as much as the first installment, Horror in the Darkness. I found the hints to be indispensable at times but mostly things were logical. Definitely worth the money!
