Doesn’t work
This app is hard work. To get any information you need to run a 10min test and you only get 2 free tests. My test was wasted because it claimed that the charger was disconnected during the test? Not true + brand new cable = glitchy app.Shanehane

Unfortunately, the test runs that long because it just can’t really run quickly. System needs to measure the battery charge, while it’s being charged for 2% of the battery charge. If your charger is quick, it will charge those 2 % quick, and the test will be completed quickly as well. Regarding the disconnections - app just gets this information from your phone. And if your phone tells the app, that the charger was disconnected - that’s why test is interrupted. Regarding free tries - you have 2 that regenerate in time. Also, watching short add video will give you more tries. After all - it’s a free app that you paid nothing for. You can try premium version if the app, that has no limits, and has more functionality. Q3 is 15W
So does this include the rate of discharge. What is this app
Update: through limitations of iOS and not the dev make sure you measure with standard charging rectifier at 5vdiy_charles

When ever I start the test, five minutes later, it says the test was canceled because of disconnection. I tried running it more but it still said it no matter what I didkfhfghj

Hello. This can happen in only 2 cases - your wire or wireless charger have issue and can not provide constant charge, or you are not leaving the app running in the foreground during the test duration. Please send me email to support@criosoft.com and we will figure it out. Regards, Andrewfake

There is help section in the app that describes how to use the app. Without reading it it might be hard ... please send an email to support@criosoft.com if you need any help with the app usage. Otherwise this review does not give any info on what exactly you did not liked.Irratic results
Wireless charging. I place it on the charger and it runs and shows 509mamp and 205sec to achieve 1%. Then I immediately start the app again and it shows 5220mamp and 20sec to achieve 1%. How is this possible? Can't say I trust this app at all after seeing this.highhopes1

Regards, Andrew There might be a bug that causes wrong result if you quickly start the second test. I will need to check. Meanwhile just run a few more tests to see the results. If after that you will have 3 results with 550 mA, and 1 with 5000.... that 5000 was that bug. I see it myself from time to time but can’t find how to kill yet. Hard to reproduce the issue. Thank You Andrew, this app is perfect for my needs. I have the new iPhone Xs Max with fast charge capability. I purchased several adapters, (usb-c & usb-a) & wireless in both formats. I’m testing various cables by different manufacturers. With your app I am able to test all combinations so I can use the accessories with the best results! Also the ability to label the tests helps me keep my results organized! Great app! Keep up the good work! Update:This was for the full app as far as labeling goes.Show lessgtspeer

Nice and great thing if you want to make play around with your wires and charger but do not expect it to be accurate.
Have tried using all fast chargers,car chargers and normal chargers and the results are a bit impressive apart from all fast chargers including both samsung and 40w iphone + usbc charger. I think ampere does not recognize fast charging and the highest result it can give is 980ma.

I want to ask a few things: what is your iPhone model that you are using? Also, what is the charge level at when you are measuring the quick charge? On iPhones 8+ quick charge measured correctly when it’s measured from 1% up to about 50% charge, and when a quick charge enabled adapter like Apple 29w USB-C Adapter with Apple USB-C to Lightning cable is used.
