Very good but one major flaw

A unreal app all round and for free. However it drains your battery like mad. One ball handling drill will put you down nearly 10%. Does anyone have a fix?

Good... But

The app works great on my friends phone, but something it canโ€™t track the rim even though we set it up in the same place nothing changes, just a heads up ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Setting up issues

I really like this app Iโ€™ve only used twice the setting up process is really confusing to me we moved into a new house that has a standard basketball goal , when Iโ€™m setting it up I would prefer the app to be in a horizontal view instead of in an panoramic view because the goal is facing way from me at a straight view I understand that the app need to be able to see me and the basketball goal itself , I would prefer the app to be able to use in airplane mode because it would make it easier to save data since I donโ€™t have any WiFi at the moment , also I feel like isnโ€™t catching me where Iโ€™m shooting the ball from in the current area or it would pick it up from the right place , so otherwise I love the app and I love everything about it .

Aaron, Thanks for the review. You can record a workout with your phone in horizontal view by tapping on โ€œRecordโ€ and then selecting โ€œGround.โ€ When recording this way, you do not need any lines on the court. Please just shoot the first shot from an area you think is the free throw line and HomeCourt will calibrate the court for you.

Great app

I love this app honestly. 2.9 update is amazing finally!!! I usually wait all day or half day to get a court alone even if a wait it gets too dark. This update knows who you are and tracks YOUR shots, not other 6 people on the court and wasting your balls (your currency for amount of shot you can have). The app has drills and events that are really fun and good prizes that make you push yourself harder. What I would recommend that there should be people commenting on your shots and a slow motion tracking of your form to get the best out of you. We need more events and fun stuff on the feed. โœŠ๐ŸปBesides that I would recommend this to any hooper!!!โœŠ๐Ÿป

How good

Amazing app that is very accurate! Iโ€™ve never used such an interactive app that can improve my handle

Incredible.

Get ready for an essay but itโ€™s worth it lol

Literally just downloaded this app, set it up on my home setup (pretty decent quality setup) took 100 shots and was amazed by the results. Due to the positioning of my hoop it was pretty awkward trying to find the right angle, so I ended up picking one that was highly elevated and on an angle, yet to my surprise all my shots were still 100% right.

After my shots it gave me my attempts and makes from 2pt and 3pt (keeping in mind there are no markings at all on my setup and the camera wasnโ€™t front on) broken down into 14 different zones with percentages and a graphic of a court with all my attempts marked made or missed, as well as my highest streaks and highlights. Ontop of all this, I had my phone connected to my speaker to play music, only to find that it counts your shots aloud and reads your makes to misses every 10 or so shots.

I really am blown away by the innovative technology used in this app and itโ€™s reliability. HomeCourt is going to be BIG in the future, and major props to the engineers behind it

Love the app by my iPhone 6s overheats

This app really works and I think is only going to continue to improve based on the recent updates Iโ€™ve seen.

HOWEVER, I have a an iPhone 6s and my phone overheats when using Shot Science (I actually get a warning on my phone that itโ€™s overheating and I canโ€™t use it again until it cools down). I paid for the full subscription, but canโ€™t really use it because of this. My phone did not overheat when I was using the free version without Shot Science, but started overheating once I paid for the full subscription and started using Shot Science. Is it possible to turn Shot Science off, or add a middle-tier subscription service where you get unlimited shots per month but donโ€™t get the Shot Science technology?

We are actively looking into this issue and will respond to your email as soon as we have more findings.

Very good app

If you are looking for a good app to track your shots, this is the one. You donโ€™t need to tap anything like most shot trackers. For me I got to shoot 1000 shots a month till I had to pay. But it is definitely worth it. It tracks shot percentages, shot chart, your vertical, release time, and gives you workouts! And many more things. Donโ€™t listen to the 1 star reviews, they just donโ€™t want to figure it out, most times you can just email them or go to the website. GET THIS APP!

8 dollars a month for unlimited shots.

Your Basketball Game In Focus...For The First Time Ever!

The HomeCourt App is absolutely amazing! I use it everyday to track my basketball workouts. You can compete in periodic challenges with players all over the world or increase your skills each day to rise to the tops of the leaderboards. The Nex Team has developed a world class app that they continue to enhance with new features. If you play basketball and have an iOS device then you must have this app. The Nex Team is very responsive to user feedback and have an outstanding support staff. You can sense that they are passionate about their app and are eager to help. They even responded to my emails on the weekends over the Christmas holidays - you canโ€™t get any more dedicated than that! Thank you Nex Team for what you have created so far. I cannot wait to see where you take us. Iโ€™ll keep shooting around, you keep pushing the limits of technology to capture my workouts in innovative new ways and give me new ways to measure my skillset. Deal? ;)

Once was my favorite app

I used this app all the time a few months back. I decided to start using it again in my free time and realized all the cool updates they made to the app. I was happy to use it I went home and realized that a once free app had turned to requiring money or you could only use it once a month, not even once considering I can put up a thousand shots a day.

Decided to write this review when yesterday a notification popped up on my screen saying โ€œwhatโ€™s stopping you from getting 200 shots up this weekend?โ€. It was ironic because I was thinking you are whatโ€™s stopping me app with your 300 shot limitation.
