Reviews of Real

  • Phenomenal sports app

I honestly think this may be the best sports app around. It's always my first notification, it contains nearly every statistic you can imagine, and honestly embodies every other app into one. You can view plays, check the standings, view a LIVE (literally live) play-by-play of each game, and so much more. You can place bets on games using Karma, an in-app currency, which adds a layer of fun and has definitely gotten me more involved in different sports. Customizing your profile is awesome, and it's such a close-knit community where you can find people who are just like you. The app creators are also super chill and give you a nice welcome when you first join! Overall, if I had to keep one sports app, it would be this one. I'm obsessed!
  • Great app but something’s bugging me

This app is great first off. Maybe even the best sports app where you can bet for free. But what bugs me are the restrictions you get for view only. The ones that are annoying me are not being able to change your player pass profiles to custom ones, like if you think a person is gonna put something bad just moderate it don’t fully disabled the feature. Also another is not being able to update your bio, like what if I wrote something that I want to get rid of, I wouldn’t be able to because it gets disabled, and lastly are the profile pictures/banners. I think my banner is goofy and I can’t even change it so it’s stuck, also my profile is where I like it (glad i changed it before mods ruined it) but if I wanted to change it I couldn’t. Same as the player passes, if you think a person is gonna put something bad just moderate it don’t fully disabled the feature, it makes your profile look less bland. I had already sent a DM to the owners about this but have no received anything. This is no hate towards the app but after the money I’ve spent into this app and the time I would like at least a repose. Disabling comments is reasonable and I have no argument towards that.
  • Best Sports App I’ve Used…..

You may be wondering how this can be the best sports app I’ve used even when I’m rating it four stars. Let me begin with the actual app itself. I am sincerely not lying when I say Real is the most user-friendly, convenient, practical, and quickest sports app I’ve used. Real outdoes ESPN, the NBA app, and other various sports-tracking applications on the market. I really do mean it. If not for the to-be-mentioned negative I’m about to reveal, then I’d continue using this app full-time. I only have ONE gripe or negative about Real. That is the unbelievably toxic community that inhabits the app. Do NOT misconstrue this as me saying EVERYONE is like this, but go into the comments of a certain play or player and you’ll see. Now I would say the app is a bit more catered to sports betters so that doesn’t necessarily ease the toxicity as you may imagine, but just the amount of chronically online trolls and insensitive, vulgar comments I see daily on the app is disgusting. And I’m not talking about the occasional trolls that you’d see on Twitter for example, I’m talking comments wishing death on players, cursing players out, and just plain out negativity. Again, this is NOT the entire community. There absolutely is a good chunk of the community that is genuinely there for the recreation of watching sports and betting, but once you use the app, (in my opinion) there is no denying the level of toxicity and negativity present in here.
