Beware! Parents Read!!
First of all, you automatically get notifications for multiple sports without even turning anything on, it’s incredibly annoying. Second, for the parents, I’d be wary of letting your kids use this app. The “group chat” when looking at live scores/stats is full of obscene/offensive language…I legit cannot believe the stuff I see and I’m not some prude. Just vile stuff. Lastly, and this one ticks me off the most…my niece was with me for the holidays and she wanted to check on her favorite player, Jalen Brunson. Little did I know, she turned on notifications for him and of course they charge for you to get specific player notifications (The Score is a free app and it will do this). I was billed for multiple months. Literally within a couple hours I realized what she’d done because my phone notifications were blowing up, I cancelled and requested a refund. I was denied the refund and told that I wouldn’t be billed after my subscription was up. As a business owner, I’m appalled that somebody would treat their consumer like this. It would be one thing if I used for months but 3 hours? Come on man…go elsewhere. They took something as simple as sports scores and made it a mess
