Can’t save to Google calendar from iPhone

I have an iPhone but use Google calendar (because it’s a superior calendar app). However gymbox only lets me save classes to Apple calendar, which I’ve deleted from my phone. This is a bad UX as I have to manually save classes to my Google calendar

Best Gym, Great App🤝

Ever since my first session at GymBox, I fell in love with everything about it. The quality of the gym, the facilities, how clean and nice the changing rooms and showers were as no one wants a dirty shower or changing room. The boxing rings. Nothing compares to GymBox for me.

Gym count

I think there should be a live function where you can see how many people are at the gym at different times in the day as it can get quite packed sometimes, especially in the smaller gyms which can be quite challenging to workout.

Waiting list function needs fixed asap

Not having the wait list function for classes makes it harder to sign up and feels like I’m getting less value out of membership. Also as others have said, the entry into gym via the app is great idea but in practice it’s really clunky and needs to be sped up please

I hate this app

Personally, I don’t go to any classes and do my independent work in the gym, so I only use this app for entry to the gym. It’s extremely clunky, and often doesn’t work. There are regularly a que of customers standing at the turnstiles trying to make it work which really detracts from my experience at what is otherwise a really good gym.

To make it better, my preference would be that GYMBOX develop an NFC-enable Apple Wallet pass, which would mean I don’t have to engage with this terrible app at all. Failing that bin the current app and start again, or just give us old fashioned membership cards etc.

Can’t log in!

I am trying to reset my password. How is it possible that there is no password reset button on the login screen in the app or online from a computer??
Also when loading the app on a new phone, the Accounts page indicates you haven’t logged in to an account but doesn’t give you a link to do so!! Note to others in my predicament -you have to navigate to the book classes function to login.
I would have preferred to submit this directly to GYMBOX as a fix request rather than send a negative review but your “app support” button in the App Store doesn’t actually link to a support page, and there is no contact page online either.
These are basic functionalities that you’re missing.

Not happy with customer service !

Thought the classes, teacher and the staff (reception) are excellent, the online customer service is awful!
The strike system is unfair, sometimes their equipment are not working and WE ARE being penalised because their system didn’t register.
The online customer is rude and not helpful, the amount of subscription is quite high so we deserve at least an excellent, respectful and efficient customer service.

Which is not the case! If you want to keep your clients improve your attitude!

Sometimes it’s okay

When the app is good it’s great but quite often it times out or won’t load properly to book classes or for you to check into the gym

Had no issues the first two weeks of using this app and managed to book in for most classes I wanted to go to. However I’ve now randomly been logged out of my account, can’t log back in without there being a ‘service error’ and all I’ve been told is there’s a glitch with the app. The classes available were the main selling point and not being able to book anything or know when this app glitch will be fixed is such a let down

Poor functionality

Recent bugs include a banner telling you you’re banned from booking, when you’re not and can still book. App crashing everything you click on the “you’re banned” banner to try and see why you received strikes.

Still no push notifications letting you know you’ve come off the waitlist.

Really poor functionality, completely at odds with the brand. You would think if you have booked on the app you would get a push notification to tell you when you come off the waitlist...but nope only an email. Getting back to the page before, finding the different sections / clubs and generally navigating the app is not intuitive in the slightest. Feels like a website forced into an app format. Disappointing that if I favourite more than 1 location I then get a notification for each location about exactly the same blog post. Not knowing where you are on the waitlist is frustrating. Unable to search or filter on classes or dates or see across studios. It’s just a long list of every single class. Considering the names of the classes (and often the descriptions as well) don’t tell you what the class is or what to expect this makes booking a nightmare.
