  • Another Great Adventure Game!

All of the Adventure Games are excellent. They are extremely challenging—and many of the puzzles are downright difficult! Allied Spies is no different; in fact, it’s one of the best in the series that I have played so far. But, I’m not gonna lie—I used several of the hints and even had to look at a Walkthrough to help me get through a few of the puzzles. But, these games are always unique and very well put together, plus, as an extra bonus, there are very rarely glitches or problems with the app itself. That’s important on many levels, none the least of which is that, when you have worked as hard at these puzzles as it sometimes takes, the last thing you want to have happen is for the game to crash, or to somehow not save your progress. That would be devastating! Kudos to the creators of these games; I hope they just keep making more of the same. Lots of fun and a great way to keep your brain active and thinking.

  • Good and bad

The puzzles are mixed - some very straightforward and others painfully difficult. I guess that applies to most escape games, but seemed even more so in this one. Generally very good game though, although it did freeze on me a couple of times so that I had to redo a whole level to have another go at a puzzle

  • Great game!

I love the haiku games and having played nearly all of them this one is one of the best! The puzzles are great, very varied and they’re well connected to the storyline so you really feel there’s a point to the logic behind them. Haiku games are FAR better than others I’ve tried. Glad to see they’ve just brought out a new one. Thanks guys!

  • Intriguing spy thriller with entertaining puzzles

This is the third game I’ve played from this developer, and I’m finding them all fun. It’s a point-and-click adventure with little in the way of explanations and instructions, but a hint system to help you out of tough spots. Most adventure games I play are pretty simple to get through, but this one had me scratching my head several times. The clues are around you, keep looking! It’s an adult-oriented game that takes place in Nazi-occupied France during WWII, so be aware there are cartoon scenes with blood and violent death- it’s a little bit gritty, but not much. Sniff out spies, meet with the Resistance, and get to the consulate without the Nazis spotting you!

  • Good so far

Really enjoying it but occasionally I can see the inventory bar and the conversation but the rest of the screen is black? I turned off then went back on it, done the same a couple times but then worked after
  • Excellent story, free to play, great mind challenges

You are my favorite developer to play games with. The games have great story lines to keep you intrigued, excellent graphics with crisp definition, puzzles of many different styles, and free to play. Please keep writing more games for us to play. I enjoy your diversity in games. This one is about a couple needing to get through a specific story line. Other games are about a detective and her solving the crimes she encounters. And recently a very fun twist with a game where you are a shape shifter trying to escape imprisonment. That was a fun bonus as you could change your view point from your different shape shifted forms. Each view point brought different clues to solve that chapter. I can not wait to see you next game. Thanks for being so awesome!

  • Grittier game, more challenging puzzles

This game has (understandably) a harsher, grittier story line and it really hasn’t been “prettied up” for squeamish sensibilities. In addition, some of the puzzles are less immediately intuitive than some of their later games, leading to it being harder to solve. I played this on my iPhone and had to skip one of the puzzles because even following the instructions and finally looking up one of the walkthrough videos online, it was impossible to “shoot” the opposing person who was attacking. Make sure to keep some extra stars in case you need to skip an in-optimized puzzle!

  • Interesting Game

Although I do find it difficult to solve some of the challenges/puzzles without any small bit of direction (without “wasting” stars on hints that provide information I’ve already figured out), I honestly am enjoying the game & will definitely investigate more games by Haiku based on the experience I’ve had so far with this game.

  • Good fun

Just discovered this series of adventure puzzle games. Some puzzles v obvious, and some a bit too lateral, but hard work has gone in to trying to put some more innovative puzzles in. Fun storylines and quite quick to get through.
  • Would be great if bugs were fixed

I am a recent fan of Haiku’s games and have been getting through them quickly. Mostly they’re great but challenges that require you to be on a tablet, desktop or larger screen are hugely frustrating, as are bugs that get you stuck when you know what to complete... please fix this as the games are really good but, for instance, tracing lines on mobile means the screen is obstructed...and I have small fingers... it is so annoying to play any game and to be blocked due to the dev rather than not understanding what the player should do.

Currently the app has frozen on chapter 7 with no way to go back or anything without downloading the app again... not really the best
