  • First Year

I get the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Times and like both for different things. There is some local sports in the Times. Since our “local” news tends to be about lots of things, it can be thin coverage, but the Congressional coverage is good. Reading the Times on digital is far too difficult. They need work on their layout and app.

  • Freezing web site

You have been one of the few National newspapers that prints intelligent articles. Please do not start letting the dark side influence you. The liberals for the most part do not live by the blueprint for life. The Bible. They will meet Jesus one day like we all will and give an account of their lives. As a business owner that’s my two cents.😎By the way your site freezes and it it hard to get out of something you are viewing. God bless.

  • Pop ups

I downloaded and paid for the Washington Times App. First of all, when I click on a FB article from the Washington Times, it still brings me to the subscription site and won’t let me open the article. Secondly, the pop ups are so bad on the APP that I can’t even get to the article. It took me six times to finally open the article only to have a pop up close it half way through the story. Ugh. I like the W Times. Any suggestions?

  • Necessary?

With all of the advertising opportunities, is a subscription an advantage to anything other then ‘more money’?
With the Daily Caller charging a fee to read all the news articles,
and Fox’s fixation on celebrity & trivia stories - your readership should have increased with providing news without the cover charge.
Initially, I had recommended your site to three households. Now,
I look at the headlines of the articles and proceed to the Sudoku.

  • Used to be a good app

I have no problems with Washington Times news. In fact, it’s really well done and well researched.

The problem I have is with the in-app ads. I used to be able to listen to music while reading the news. No more. As soon as I open an article, this app kills sound from any other app. On top of that, the ads are now videos that open and can’t be closed or skipped.

Please give us a chance to skip ads and stop taking over my audio! I can WATCH the news, if I wanted to. I’m READING the news because that’s the way I want to get my info. Don’t show me video in a text-based app.

  • Great Alternative!

It’s such a relief to be able receive News that is otherwise unreported. I mean seriously, totally, completely unreported! However, with the time being what it is, along w/division and polarization, those that need to know the facts won’t read this...unfortunately. However, I appreciate NOT being ignorant of what is actually happening behind the common, mainstream news, and the Washington Times is terrific for this. Thank you WT!

  • News You Want But Won’t Get to Read.

Was optimistically looking forward to an objective, balanced news provider, especially coming out of D.C. Problem is that it’s virtually impossible to actually read an article! Select an article, article opens, and THEN: horizontal banner near bottom covering ~20% of the screen; right margin ads - OK, that’s fairly common; THEN, FULL-SCREEN pop-up video ad - try to close it, then a subscription solicitation opens and the rest of the screen is greyed-out. It is absolutely the most ridiculous and frustrating website I can recall experiencing.
There is such a desperate need for the content I believe the Washington Times provides, but it’s worthless if it can never be read. Hopefully the developers actually read these reviews.

  • It’s better than other idiots papers.

The Washington Times is much, and much better than New York Times and other left party papers.
  • ADs, ADs and more ADs

The news content is great but the APP is almost unusable because of POP-UP ADs that take over the screen. I tried four times to read one article but never completed it because of an intrusive advertisement that expanded on the screen and would not allow one to move pass it. It played in a continuous loop until the APP was closed and restarted. Clicking on the same article brought the same intrusive advertisement back on screen.
    RIDICULOUS!

  • Former Chairman US Parole Commission

The loss of Wesley Pruden, was a loss for all of your readers, what a journalist! I have been with you for most of my 20 plus years as a public servant having served six President’s. Your staff are doing a superb job in not making up the news, but reporting in & unbiased professional coverage of the news. Thank you Edward F. Reilly
