Reviews of Week Number widget

  • Week number

It would be helpful if the icon would display the week number. As it seems to be now the app has to be opened to see the week number or is it always going to be week 42? It seems that this is a no brainer seeing as how you have to PAY for it or am I missing something?

    Developer Response

Hi Scott, Yes, it would be great if the app could show the current week number as the icon. However, Apple doesn’t allow apps to do that automatically (which is why you don’t see that on any calendar or week number apps). The only option for an app to control its icon is if the user manually selects a new icon in the app - which obviously doesn’t make sense for an app of this kind.
  • Waste of money

The app is a week fast as of 1/20/22.
Does not show the week number on the face of the app on iPhone.
  • Works with watchOS5

I wasted money on other apps that don’t work on new faces. This one does and is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
