What a time waster
Caf bank have introduced another layer of security which wastes a lot of time.
It now seems impossible to authorise a payment without rendering ones I’d, then the payee account number and then the amount every time. One must therefore have access to an iPad or iPhone to effect this, so one can’t authorise payments when on the move without another computer, and I did not seem to be able to get app to use on desktop computer so as to use split screen technology. Of course it’s for security purposes, but when are all these extra layers going to stop. The more there are the more mistakes can be made and the more chance if one getting locked out.

So clunky
This could be so easily designed in a user friendly way. Why not switch to a numeric only keyboard when asking for the last four digits of the payee account and the amount? Pretty much every other app I have does this when requesting a number only input so it must be very simple. Hey, why not try Googling how to do it, developers? And why label the field “Payee Details” and not “Last 4 digits of payee acc no”? Clear, plain instructions go a long way to making apps easy to use.
Let’s hope that the next release addresses some of these basics.

CAF app
If you are a charity banking with CAF I strongly suggest you use the txt message service to authorise payments and not this App.
