I’m currently studying for my 2nd Class Advancement Exam. And besides studying my Manuals and my bibs online, I use this app when I’m on the go. The best part about this App is that I’m able to speak to my chief about this app. Both of us are Personnel Specialists, and seems like a good app when it comes to flashcards and practice quizzes. I hope the other rates have the same experience that I did when I was in the reserves. The next Step is speaking to my command now that I did my reenlistment to Active Duty.

Great study materials
I don't have quite the time that I wish I had to dedicate for advancement study, but the study material in Navy BMR made it so easy for me. Besides having all the information there, the convenience of being able to have it in your phone with you all the time makes finding studying time an easy task. Plus the different ways they offer (Multiple choice, flash cards, etc), you cant go wrong with them!Show lessT@ken
Who has time for Bibs?
I never studied much before my E6 exam and after I failed my exam first time up for E7, it was a killer. I have pressured myself to step up and start studying anytime I have some downtime. Looking through the bibs over the last few years and printing off page after page and highlighting what I thought was good material....obviously that didn’t work well. I now use Navy BMR to do all that for me except they know what to look for whereas I probably don’t. The flash cards are great and the game and quizzes definitely help tremendously. I definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to advance and make something out of their career!Show lessPhillyb13
Great app!!!
This app has been really helpful. It allows me to have study material on my at all times 24/7. I am able to use the bibs and get all the study guides I need. I recommended this app to my reserve unit. I would also recommend this to anybody who is a reservist because it is hard enough not being on active duty and not dealing with our rates on a daily basis, while working in jobs that have nothing to do with our navy titles.Show lessNavy Reservist
Perfect for busy Sailors
This app is perfect for Sailors who don't have the time to sit down and study very often. You can get a lot of information, and test your knowledge when you have a few minutes during the day. It's convenient, and easy to use, and has options for every rate. I highly recommend this app, as it has helped me advance to E-5 after only 2 years in the Navy, and plan to use it for every future advancement exam.Show lessladytrav
Excellent study tool
It doesn’t matter where I am I always have my phone and that means I have the Navy BMR app so I can study at any time I need to. The information on this app is valuable since it’s on every exam I’ve taken. The areas I focus on I tend to do better on the exam. I learn from this app because I’m always using it preparing myself. Also, it’s useful in helping understand my job and rate better. It explains things that I may not fully grasp or understand. Exceptional!!!
If you need a guide that gets you a “ticket to the dance” then this is it for you. Every year that I’ve used this I have made board. It’s an effective way to study and make an excellent score on the test. It also works for the lower ranks as well. I give this to my junior sailors too and they rank up. I would say that if you want a high score on your advancement exam the NAVY BMR is the way to go. They are 100% in my book and they are loved across the Navy. Keep up the amazing work guys!!!

I love this app. It makes studying for advancement much more convenient to fit into busy lifestyles. It’s impossible to walk around with manuals and binders full of instructions, but BMR puts your BIB right at your fingertips. You can study whenever and this best thing about it is you don’t need service or WiFi to access the information. I would recommend to all Navy personnel eligible for advancement or even to just have as a reference to look up instructions and regulations.Show lessDryia W.
Mobile App
This app is helpful for busy individuals. I’m a Navy reservist so having an app that I can open and study in the morning, lunch break or in the evening has been a blessing. The only issue I have noticed is on the multiple choice portion, I am unable to see all of the questions. I am only able to see the first three. Additionally, it seems that the game is geared to the BIBs for active duty as you are unable to request the BIBs for the reserve exam. Additionally, I do enjoy being able to hear the Q&A portion while I am driving to work.Show lessMoab2018!!

This app is everything you'll need for advancement and more. There are many options to study so you can choose what is most convenient for you. There are flash cards, multiple choice, and study guide styles. This allows you to take control of your learning and practice in different styles. I love this app. The different methods of study open up more options but allowing you to choose different chunks of information to study.
