We purchased this for our nephew. The songs do bot connect with the character and 20 second clips is not long enough to keep him entertained. So its really a waste of money.Angela Toys

Works, with flaws.
In theory, it works. The corresponding beat bug will sing along, however, the app is only a short clip of each song and the Beat Bug will sings their parts for the entire song. So, it’s singing along to a song that isn’t playing. If that’s fixed, it’s pretty impressive.Rastamook
Only 20 second clips
The clips are only 20 seconds long making this app, and the toy, worthless. Many of the songs have 10 second intros giving you only 10 seconds of actual singing.StoneHenged
