  • This is a good app

This app is good because it really shows the image of the thing you’re doing and it shows your friends what you been doing and if you like videoing things and playing games at the same time this is a good app for you to experiment on what things to do and my favourite thing to do my iPad is to do colour by number but my friends don’t believe me that I actually do it so I videoed it and sent it to them and they believe me

  • Capture

This is just one of many screen recording apps I have tried and what a joy it is to get one that actually works! With easy to use nothing complicated or simply confusing about it. I have yet to find anything wrong thus it gets a 5 star’s but rest assured if it does I will update my review. Mind you I don’t think that is going too be the case compared with others I have tried this one is without doubt the best one by far 👍🏼

  • Sorry, Deleted

I’ve been a fan of SNAGIT as a purchased program on numerous Windows PC’s for years to quickly and easily grab single image screen shots. And also used the image editing function, which is certainly not Photoshop but more than sufficient for my needs.
And that’s all I wanted for my new iPad Air; a SNAGIT version as efficient as it’s PC cousin, but all I found in the App Store was this CAPTURE program - clunky, very little in the way of controls and hard to comprehend. Frankly it didn’t feel like a Techsmith product at all. After several failed attempts to achieve anything in the way of a screen capture I gave up and deleted the app.
Possibly Techsmith isn’t interested in the Apple environment which is a shame considering how valuable it’s been for me in Windows.

  • Terrible

It wouldn’t record sound or record
  • On 2015 iPad Pro

Do not use this program with “screen capture” switched on from apps control menu in the iPad. This will cause problems that will make your recordings disappear. This just happened to me. The recordings either go to the Capture section or the photos section of the iPad but i looked in both places and nothing. Lost work because of this. On the plus side the recording seems very good quality and is very easy to use. Wish it could have a “pause” feature instead of needing to stop and do a new clip. Also 20 min limit. Wish it were longer. Suggestion, give ability to group clips into folders or some other management system.

  • Love it, but...

On my old phone I had TechSmith Capture and it was amazing! I just downloaded it on my new phone and I think there was a update. On my old phone you used to be able to swipe down from the top and push a circle to start screen recording. Now you have to go back to the app and stop the recording. I would love it if this feature could be added again! Thank you for your time!

  • No on screen sound recording

The first video I recorded managed to capture the on screen sound too. Now all that it’s capturing is the screen, with no sound.

It is easy to use and the quality is decent. Not being able to have the option to record the on screen sound is a bit disappointing though.
  • Great app for recording phone use ideas

I’ve used the application on the PC for many years and it’s awesome and it’s on the way to becoming awesome for the phone also. The only thing I suggest is maybe add the ability for the user to record voice through the microphone on the phone while recording the video. Also if the users phone forces the user to start the app in vertical video mode then the program should try to compensate for that so the video, when played, corrects the orientation.

  • does NOT work

duh. teat this THING before sending it out. does NOT work. DUH.
  • Question for frame rate

So at my house, I have very fast internet, and it recorded in 60 FPS. I went to a different location, one with significantly worse internet, and when I went to check the recording, it seemed to have been lowered to 30 fps. The battery was not the issue, as it was the same amount. So my question is: does internet affect the recording frame rate, or did I do something wrong?

    Please answer back,
    Thank you
