Decent app
Works great as a counter to keep track of rows. I like the fact multiple counters can be created within a project. Sadly, it does not sync from iPhone to watch as stated. This was the main reason I chose this app and it’s limited its use for me. If the sync issue could be fixed, then it would be excellent.

Like it but a few issues
I really like this app and have paid for a lifetime upgrade but I can’t seem to figure out how to make the widget show my current projects. It keeps saying no recent projects found. Also it does not seem to be syncing to my Apple Watch. I also wish I could sync this so I can switch between iPad and iPhone. However the app is beautiful and functional!

Awesome!
This app is awesome! I have done a bit of searching around for the right app I like to keep track of my crocheting projects. This one is by far the best I have found so far. I haven’t tried much of the functions for the stash yet but I have a feeling it is still the best. I already put in my 3 projects on the go and it’s clear to me where I am in the projects I love it.
The only thing that I would say needs work is the app occasionally crashes on me. Not often it’s only happened a handful of times.

Game changer for crocheting/knitting!
I rarely leave app reviews, but this app has been a game changer for me while crocheting. I can see and update my current stitch count (instead of using actual stitch counters, which can be a pain), easily browse and mark my place in the pattern, keep track of my hook size and yarn, and see when I started the project, and I can do that for each of my projects. And all of this is without the upgrade, which is awesome. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is into crocheting or knitting and wants to make their process more efficient and organized!

Syncing issues
This is a good app and I would pay for the pro But I think $50 is a little steep for this. Personally I think they should come down on that price. There are other apps that are $9.99 for the year and offer more functions.
Often I use my watch but while crocheting it’s a good time to charge the watch but syncing rows I counted on the phone back with the watch is not accurate. Due to that issue I can’t justify $50 even with it syncing properly $50 for a row counter with some added tracking features is a tuff sale IMHO. I think they would get more sales at a $25 to $30 price range. If this was $25 I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing...if it was under $10 annually I wouldn’t hesitate.

Never syncs to watch app
So I downloaded this because it has a watch app function but so far I have gotten through 40% of my project and not once has the watch app tried to sync with the phone app

Glad I waited
I REALLY want to love this app and was prepared to buy it outright, but so far it is glitchy about letting me input yarns into my stash especially when using the duplicate function. Sometimes I can edit the number of skeins etc, other times it kicks me out of the record and back to the stash page. Other times it stops allowing me to interact with a yarn entry at all, won’t even open it. There are no ways to contact anyone about tech support. I’m not sure if this is something that would be fixed by an upgrade to Pro but the price is still a little steep without knowing if this is a bug that will be addressed.

Loving Stash Tracking
I am loving that this will allow me to keep track of my stash. I tend to buy yarn I don’t need because I don’t realize I have it — having this at my fingertips in a store will be fantastic.
To the developers:: Would it be possible to add headlines to the sorting options? Also, would it be possible to add fractional skeins for counts? I realize the fractions wouldn’t be precise accuracy and would be open to my own judgement and error...but for some of my yarn I have only half skeins or even just scrap balls or what have you left and would like a way to count those too.

Hi! I'm so glad you're enjoying YarnBuddy. :) In the next update, you'll be able to enter yarn quantities as a decimal number of skeins (i.e. "1.5") or total weight in grams or ounces. I also made it so that the current sorting selection is always visible (hopefully that's what you meant!). Best, Becky
