Best knitting app
This app is truly the best option for managing knitting projects. It has a good integration with Ravelry to pull patterns in. It makes following a pattern and stitch/row tracking a breeze. I would not be half the knitter I am without this app. The developer clearly cares about the details, and I’m so grateful for it.

The BEST app for knitting and crochet
I downloaded this app after seeing it suggested on a knitting blog. I have used it ever since. I’ve tried other apps for keeping track of my knitting and crochet projects but this one is far and away the best. The features are fabulous and the visuals are great.. as a visual person, this is important to me. I love that there’s a quick counter if you don’t want to create a project but you can also do multiple counters within projects. There’s a yarn stash feature to keep track of what yarn you have and what you’re using on projects… this will even scan barcodes so you don’t have to manually enter yarn details (this doesn’t always work but I appreciate that it does sometimes). I recently found that the counter can be used via my Apple Watch which is the just icing on the cake. I never write reviews for apps but this one is so fabulous that I wanted to. My only suggestion to the developers is that I wish you could drag the notes on projects to reorder them. Other than that, I think the creators of this app have thought of everything! I’d give it more stars if I could!

I love the app!
I was trying out a physical project journal, but I found it tedious to regroup everything at the same place (keeping track of my rows, all of my yarns and the quantities left after the different projects, etc.). I love the fact that it has a watch complication, so I don’t have to keep my phone opened on the app either.
This app fixed all my management problems! Plus, it’s super cute 🥰

Crashing
I have been using Yarn Buddy for a few months now and it’s great for keeping track of yarn. When tempted with a new skein I can instantly see if I already have it or something similar. I have also listed all my needles so again can quickly see if I have the necessary tools. However I am getting very frustrated that when trying to add project details (and I only have about 8 listed) the app keeps crashing. As soon as I try to add the yarn that I used to the project it crashes. I am using iPhone with up to date systems but when scrolling through the yarn it crashes before I get to the one I need.
24/08/24. Yet again trying to add a project as as I am adding the yarn the app keeps crashing. It has now crashes 5 times and each time I need to start from the beginning. I’m starting to wonder if a piece of paper and pen would work better for keeping track of the project details, there only some many times I can be bothered to try

Brilliant app
I’ve been using this app for over a year now to keep track of my projects, my yarn stash and my needles. It’s absolutely beautiful and a fantastic way to keep organised. So much better than any other knitting app I’ve looked at! My only wish is if it had a search or filter function in the tools, so you can find a particular size needle more easily. Then it would be perfect!

Excellent…however…
I bought yarn buddy not too long ago. I adore it, with one small exception of not being able to close the project list side menu, and it’s blocking the timer for my next project…I’m confused. This is on my iPad and on other projects the menu closes properly. Please help! It has taken 15 years for me to find an app with everything I need to track all in one place…..I don’t want to go back to that search. Also I tried to email to the address that has been given to others, but got a report that the address doesn’t exist. Got to say I’m quite disappointed

New to Yarn Buddy
Well I am not into Apps but my wool stash was getting out of control so needed to log and keep track of it, used a spreadsheet but then came across this app. Read some reviews and decided to give it ago. Tested it by putting in a project to see what it does and so impressed. If you put in your stash of materials it links it to your projects and you can see what you used that yarn for as well. It reduces your stash as you use it but everything has the option to edit which is fab. I like the timer as I always forget to write it down. You can find all the useful information you need from the menus everything in one place so you don’t have to keep searching. If there isn’t a field for something like total cost you can add it in the notes. The search is great you can find what you need in a couple of clicks however you put the information in the app. Absolutely love this app so bought the pro and well worth it as supporting a small business so win win 🤗 PS wish I bought it ages ago rather than struggling with spreadsheets

Could Recommend Patterns
I love Yarn Buddy, but I do find that I need ideas to be recommended for me because now, there are SOOO many different patterns available for me to try. If Yarn Buddy does make this improvement, I would definitely recommend this app to EVERYONE!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make this improvement!

Brilliant app to keep track of my projects. Only comment would like a finished projects page instead of archiving with archived projects.
