Proving a nightmare to set up and very little to no support available- not impressed.

Doesn’t work with the app

I’ve been taking pictures with my phone to import from the app to print because of the lighting where I’m using the camera and it just keeps saying “make sure you are connected to a POP.” Well when I check the POP it shows connected to my phone and vice versa. This is so ridiculous and such a hassle. App is trash.

Effectively Useless

I’m a pretty tech savvy person, but I have exhausted everything I can think of to pair my phone to the app and the camera’s WiFi only to— without fail— be told that there’s no internet connection, every single time that I’ve tried connecting. Between forgetting all other available networks I’ve previously joined, making sure the auto-join possibilities are turned off, trying to connect with both my Bluetooth turned on and off, and even factory resetting the Pop itself, nothing has worked or produced any different results and I’m stuck with the “No Internet Connection” message in my WiFi section when I try connecting to the Pop. Because my phone won’t connect, the app is completely useless for me.

Can’t connect

I used to be able to connect and print my photos on my pop. Recently I got a newer iPhone model and can not connect with the app anymore. My phone and pop connect just fine, but the app continuously tells me that I am not connected to my pop when I am. Now I can’t print photos from the app.

Great idea bad execution

I love being able to print from this camera. The pictures have a great retro feel. The app is buggy however and the ios13 update completely broke the connectivity between the app and my phone. I called support and they said they were working on a fix and that it would be a few weeks. Yikes! Come on Polaroid.

Bug

it's a great camera i'm just having trouble connecting my phone and the camera together i connect to wifi and go to the app to continue it doesn't do anything

Editing problem

I think the app would be good except that no matter what I do, the alignment totally cuts off half of my picture. It ends up printing only part of the picture (either cutting off the top of the pic or the bottom of someone’s chin). These are just standard sized pictures (whether imported from my phone or taken directly on the device), and as much as I can condense them or resize, it just doesn’t scale correctly to print the final edit as selected the in the preview. I’ve tried different types of photos as well (people, scenes, etc), I feel like I’m wasting my paper. Is this something that you can address? Thank you so much.

Don’t waste your time or money

This app is utter garbage and doesn’t function in the slightest. It’s WiFi connectivity function that it advertises doesn’t work no matter what I do. There’s nothing wrong with the camera itself, my phone is fine, but the app isn’t fine. It just tells you to go back and connect to the POP WiFi again and again even though it’s been connected the whole time. All I want to do is print a simple photo in a Polaroid fashion but this nonsense app hinders my enjoyment. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

If you are looking for a sign to not get this, this is it.

App doesn’t connect to device at all. Have had for about 2 years and try to use the Pop atleast once a month have only been able to get it to work the first day I got it. Going to go find a more reliable app.

Not worth your time

Don’t bother even buying the product. It’s overpriced for some pixelated crummy pictures. The app won’t even sync with the PolaroidPop so even if you’re connected to it, it will say to make sure you’re connected with your PolaroidPop. Waste of time and money.
