  • Robust, but usability issues

This is a robust and feature-filled workout tracker and timer, but it has some usability issues and existing features could use a little refinement. It will probably be great for most users, and certainly seems better than all the competition.
  • Much improved

I had some issues way back with the app crashing. The deeloper reached out, identiied the issues and fixed them. Very nice app now that it's working properly.

Hello! Thank you for letting me know about these things. I was able to find and fix your #1 and the update is out now. I have not been able to reproduce any crashes, so I added more sophisticated crash logging in this update as well that should give me some data in the coming days as people use the app. If you have more details about your crashes or any additional feedback, I would love it if you emailed me at shannon@abitworkout.com
  • Wonderful App - Worth upgrading - No regrets

This is by far the best workout timer on the App Store. It is EXTREMELY customizable and beyond that doesn’t get weighed down by the customization options. The interface is very intuitive. I appreciate how the app can read out the name of the upcoming exercise and tell you how much time is remaining. Moreover, you can even change the voice to whatever you want — I played around with readings with a French or German accent which were funny. Go with this app, you won’t regret it.

BTW - Reading the other reviews:
    - Crashing: I have not had any issues of the app crashing personally.

    - Cost: I too was a little bummed when I hit my 5 exercise limit per month. I tried to find something better and really there is none…. Which brought me back to the value which this app brings me and how much time I would have saved if I just paid for a membership/1 time purchase rather than trying to find something better. All things considered, 1 dollar a month or 10 dollars a year is beyond reasonable (alternatively 25 for lifetime access). How much would a monthly gym membership cost you? A beverage from the store? It is possible that you’ll be using the app for a couple hours a week, if not a month, so why not chip in to the single developer who is making your life easier with this app?

  • Good workout tool

I made workouts in the app from a workout plan I found online and it works great. The Apple Watch app is nice for keeping me on track without having to look at my phone all the time.
  • Love it!

This app is great for transforming workouts I’ve written in my notes app to real workouts that track my progress and time. It’s clean and easy to use as well!
  • Crashes frequently

I have two main issues with the app:
    1) When I click "view completed workouts" and scroll through them, the page refreshes every 15 seconds or so, so I have to scroll through them quickly to find the one I want, and click it before it refreshes.
    2) The app crashes (i.e. closes and pops an error report) during workouts frequently enought for me to be annoyed. Maybe every third workout.

Whenit works, it's great! But these two annoying factors have me looking at alternatives.

  • Great Workout Tool

This app is super clean and easy to use. I am able to make really custom complex workouts in minutes. The text to speech is my favorite part!
  • Great app except for one thing

It’s a really simple and clean app to navigate, and I love that you can choose between number of reps or time in seconds. I also love the text to speech feature. I just have one gripe with the app: the subscription service. I hate subscription services, especially when this one limits the amount of workouts you can make. I would totally prefer to pay a one time fee. It’s a great app overall though.
