A Taste of Home
I moved away from home, but I can still enjoy the relaxing sounds of WKAR from across the country. Sure, we have radio stations around here, but it’s nice to hear familiar voices and news of home.

The WKAR app gives you access to on air music programming, all news and a specially formulated streaming channel of classical music. One of the nation’s best NPR stations.
Good, hard to start
I like the app, but it seems to take a while to engage. Sometimes I have to press the controls a number of times to get it to begin. That said, the rating is as high as it is for love of WKAR.
Great streaming app
Miss my WKAR when I’m in Phoenix so I stream it on my phone at work and home, WiFi and cellular both work with no buffering. Thank you!

Works great, most of the time
This is how I listen to WKAR, but occasionally it just doesn’t play and I have to listen to the radio.
