Absolutely terrible
This app is inconsistent, user unfriendly, and one of those “upgrades” that made everything worse. You’ve taken a good local paper, stripped it of nearly all of its local coverage and run it into the ground. Then the app is so bloody frustrating, its not worth the meager amount of local coverage provided. Thanks for ruining a good thing Gannon. I’m cancelling my subscription.Show lessN’ermore
App malfunctioning
While reading the enewspaper, ads keep overtaking the screen and make it impossible to read the paper. When I click the ‘x’ to clear the ad, another pops up within a minute or so. This keeps happening over and over, on a loop. I have contacted the newspaper’s electronic support, but they either did not understand the problem or did not care. I have offloaded the app and signed back in, I have booted my machine, but nothing is helping. The problem is on your end. I will cancel my subscription altogether if this isn’t corrected immediately.Show lessBlehdeedahdeedah

This app used to work great, but this latest version (7.5.1.8) is so bad that cancellation has entered the discussion. Specifically I prefer being able to swipe to turn pages. I can adjust to using the arrow buttons, but for the love of journalism, please then move the side menu, so I don’t keep ending up in USA Today when my big fat thumb is off target by any amount. It would also be AMAZING if, besides setting the preference for opening in eNewspaper view, it could also remember that, like anyone trying to read a paper on a tablet, I want it in full screen. (Does anybody read it with two pages displayed side by side?) I get that people may want to search for something, but that shouldn’t be the default, in my opinion. When the app allows be to zoom into what one would hope is a half of a page, it is more like two-thirds wide, causing the user to do lots of sliding left and right to read headlines, articles, etc. I really hope this can be improved.
