Hi Developer! This is a really accurate app! I’d love to see support for Apple Trackers and other popular brands, as well as common dog tracking collars like the Fi 2 and Fi 3 Collar. Many tracking apps have great hardware, but lackluster software that cannot harness the power of the hardware well due to poor development. Pairing their hardware to your app could be a much more robust and affordable option for tracking movement . . . and finding lost items!
The problem with most trackers today is that they require expensive subscriptions. You’d literally put money back in people’s pockets by supporting older and even new hardware via Bluetooth. GPS, and other types of supported tracking technologies. People would be happy to pay a much lower fee to you for an app that can track all of their hardware than paying greedy companies that charge way too much money. Other users would also appreciate the option of earning access with an ad supported app in exchange for full features.
There are many ways it can be done, but the easiest is likely having your app bridge a connection between our 3rd party tracking hardware (like my dog’s Fi Collar) and then linking it with our own I phones. You can also the Apple Find My tracking platform (which now supports 3rd parties) for when the trackers end up out of range of our own phones (like when something gets lost or a dog runs away).
I would also be interested in donating my time to beta testing the above. I have 25 years hardware/software beta testing experience and would happily sign an NDA. I already have a TestFlight account. I would be able to also test on Android too. Please reach out to let me know if the above feature request might be a possibility. I bought this app because it is one of the only apps that uses internal phone GPS to track your location; even when you are miles from cell service. Fantastic little app.Hawker1009

Used this for the first time and I hoped it would track my drive as advertised, but what I got was a straight line connecting my starting point and endpoint.

Hi, Have you enabled the location permission correctly when it popups. Normally you should see map is drawing your route once you start the journey. If not something wrong with your permission. Please let us know info@ceylonlabs.comVery good app

When your phone runs out of charge mud journey and you eventually get your phone back on again it offers the option to save your journey. Unfortunately however the button to instead delete this journey is where for every other journey the save button is. This means that if you’re going by muscle memory to save you will delete your journey. This happened to me and I lost a bunch of photos, this is a very poor design choice.Show lessJab sob

This app is good when it works, unfortunately there have been too many occasions where my walks haven’t been recorded with the message “not enough data”, this is despite the location setting set to always, 4g data available, my iPhone having the latest software, I’ve even tried reloading the app, I waisted my money upgrading, really disappointed.Show lessDent012
