No way to contact author, cannot select specific model.
I have the premium subscription, I got this specifically to use the NBM model. However, using the “pull-up” screen to display data for your selected area it appears it is hardcoded to use only the HRRR model for the first several days of data. I want to use NBM data. Yes, I’ve tweaked every setting I can find in the app and cannot seem to change this. The only place I can select to use NBM data is on the map page. And I cannot find any link for tech support or suggestions, so I give this app a 3 star rating. If I was not focused on trying to get the app to use a specific model I would probably give it a 5 star rating.

Great - but one thing
I love the Ventusky app (and website)! One issue I would love to see fixed is that in several places (widgets and watch face in particular), it no longer shows tomorrow’s high and low by the time it is in the evening of today. For example, on Tuesday evening, it no longer shows Wednesday’s high and low, but Thursday, Friday, etc. As it is now, I have to click into the app a few clicks to see that info. It seems like the days are about 1 day off from what they should be, during the evening specifically.

Great app, crappy update removes features in place for subscription fee
I get it, we all want to make money. Sell the app for a reasonable price, lose the subscription. No one wants them. Believe we all paid for this app at some time. Wish you’d have left it at that.

Very Accurate
This app is very useful as I travel a lot . It’s good to get an accurate easy to understand weather report when I need it.

Franchement utile
Bien difficile de ne pas apprécier cette application surtout quand l’on se trouve dans les bois. Avec l’application GPS What3Words, indispensable!
Buggy Widget
I love the app itself (I pay for premium) but the widget is super buggy. I honestly would give Ventusky 5 stars but it’s important to me to have a functioning widget. It seems to randomly default to London even though I removed London as a saved city. If I change it to my saved city it doesn’t show anything. I’ve also had to change units in the app from Celsius to Fahrenheit several times to get it to change in the widget. Furthermore, if the phone is restarted it doesn’t recognize that I have Premium. Again, the app itself is great, but the widget barely works for me.

Excellent map with tons of layers
The big draw for me to this app is being able to quickly select from tons of different layers on the map and then seeing that data globally. And excellent wind information too that shows visually and numerically on the map and you can pick the altitude. So far in using it there is one major missing feature or perhaps I can't find it but I need to check humidity frequently so having a chart of predicted humidity would be really helpful. They have charts / plots for temperature, pressure, etc and you can view humidity on the map but no plot of it. Without that I do still use Apple's weather as it has humidity charts. But for everything else I use Ventusky. Then one minor feature which might not be possible with the data sources / calculations they have right now but if easy to add, would like to be able to see a little plot of tidal information anywhere in the world. As you do have great tide numbers on the map layer but for areas I'm not familiar with I don't know if that means high tide or how much further etc. As going somewhere with a tidal land bridge and don't want to get stuck (obviously I'll check elsewhere but would be sweet in here).

Thank you, I am glad to hear that. It is true that we do not currently offer humidity charts. Some sorting would need to be added, as there are already many layers. On the other hand, tide charts are available in the app alongside weather and wave data. If you don't see them, please contact us at info@ventusky.com. It might be an error.
